Our waitress greeted us quickly and we were able to order quickly.
I ordered the filet- $65 and when offered to add scallops I did- 2 for $18 totaling $83
My husband ordered the stuff quail $45
He also ordered a dozen oysters $36
And we had 2 sweet teas $8
Oysters came out first and were cold the flavor just was not there. We were most excited for the oysters so this was disappointing.
My filet came out cooked almost to perfection but was poorly seasoned and had basically no flavor. The scallops weren’t bad but $18 for 2 is crazy.
My husband’s stuffed quail however was very good though.
Presentation of the food was definitely better than thw taste of most of it.
As for the service we received I only have one complaint, when our server brought out our diner silverware she sat it on the dirty ledge around the firepit we were using and a table instead of on the napkin. That was pretty gross.
So many good options on the menu it’s hard to choose what to get! Their outside patio is so nice and cozy for winter or summer. Inside is beautifully decorated. This a a great spot in fairhope. We will be back!
Little Bird in Fairhope knocked it out of the park. The staff was super attentive without hovering, and the cocktail program is seriously good.
We went heavy on the ordering and didn’t regret a thing. You have to try the caramelized onion dip with caviar and the salt-baked oysters. The tuna crudo was gorgeous, too. For the main event, the swordfish with those confit sweet potatoes and the stuffed quail were excellent. Even the sides like the cornbread were on point. Capped it off with the crème Brulé. Definitely coming back.
I’ve got a new favorite restaurant in the area now. Interesting and well-crafted drink menu with rotating specials as well as house specialities. Only thing to fault was no N/A beer, they said they’d run out. But, in 2025 it feels like this should be table stakes for the industry.
Started with the golden beet salad, so fresh and really what’s not to love when you out beets and goat cheese together in almost any form?
My wife got the scallops (wonderful) and I ordered the Gulf Catch which was Black Grouper on a turnip puree with heirloom carrots, broccolini, and a lemon/carrot tops emulsion that was crazy good. The whole plate was perfect and the grouper steak was massive.
Service was impeccable and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back often.
Food was awesome. Some of the best cocktails I’ve had maybe ever (although they were out of several cocktails.
Service started off incredible but became extremely slow about half way through. Slowest I’ve had in years, which was surprising because the patio area only had 5 tables with 2 servers.
The patio was amazing! Beautiful weather and a live saxophone player! Maybe just a weird day for the servers. We will definitely be back
The price might not be the most budget-friendly, but it’s perfect for a special occasion. Totally worth it for the experience!
We’re already planning to come back for our next date night! Such a wonderful spot for celebrating special moments together.
We love Little Bird! It is well worth the drive from Pensacola and everything has been amazing each time we have come. The attention to detail in each space, the level of service, and the food that is beautiful and delicious all add up to a very memorable and satisfying experience.
