We visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner and were initially impressed. The atmosphere is very nice definitely on the upscale side for the area which made it seem perfect for the occasion.

Our reservation was @ 7:30 p.m. and there were five of us total, though one person was running late and arrived around 8:15pm.
Four of us placed our order about 8pm and when our fifth guest arrived we added her order without any issue.
Shortly after, one person in our group was informed that the restaurant was out of salmon for her salad, so she decided to change her order to a pizza. While disappointing, we understood and moved on.

By about 8:55 p.m., we still had not received any food, I spoke with a host to ask about the delay. She apologized and said she would check with our server. When she returned, she told us our order had only been placed about 35 minutes earlier, which we knew was incorrect, but we were told our food would be coming out shortly. We were considering leaving but decided to wait a bit longer as we were all hungry.

Eventually, two plates and a few sides came out (out of five meals.) Unfortunately, both were incorrect. One was a burger ordered with no onions. When it arrived, it had onions inside. When this was brought to the server’s attention, upon checking he explained that they thought “no onions” meant no “raw onions”, and that onions were already mixed into the meat and the burger couldn’t be remade without them. Needless to say, she couldn’t eat it.

The second plate was a filet mignon ordered medium-well, and it was clearly undercooked (I’ll be attaching a photo). At that point, it was too much. Only two people had received food, both meals were wrong, and it was unclear how much longer the rest of us would be waiting.

To be fair, the side of parmesan fries I received were decent, and another guest enjoyed the broccolini. The birthday girl ordered a lemon drop-style cocktail and really liked it. However, those positives didn’t outweigh the overall experience.

Our server mentioned that there had been a party of 20 before us, which caused delays, but that doesn’t excuse incorrect orders, long wait times, or poor communication. When I went to let the host know we were leaving, staff appeared to just be getting ready to put our pizzas into the oven nearly an hour after ordering.

We ultimately decided to leave without eating dinner. Afterward, the restaurant did call the birthday girl (she made the reservations) to apologize and offered a $50 gift card, which was appreciated, but considering there were five of us and none of us actually got to eat a proper meal, it didn’t fully make up for the experience.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and potential, but unfortunately the service, timing, and execution made this a very disappointing night especially for a birthday celebration

Been here 2 times both times ordered the same entree, switched it up with appetizer selection. Freshly made to order delicious food and take substitutes very easily which I love. As I’m a picky eater or should say I strongly dislike certain foods. Overall both times have had excellent service and the atmosphere is wonderful.

The atmosphere was warm and romantic for me and my significant other, and the food was amazing with a flavor profile that is uniquely delicious for the area! I would’ve given it a 10 (or complete 5 stars in all categories) as this was one of the best restaurants I’ve tried in a long time, but the Lobster Mac n Cheese had a little too much oil in it – around 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil had pooled at the bottom of the dish after finishing it. Besides that, the light creaminess mixed with the crunch of the bread crumbs and a soft, tender lobster was divine! The lamb burger was juicy and flavorful with the hangersteak being well seasoned and the fries were so crispy; The Hot Honey Pizza was a major hit with my family at home as well! Delicious soda options as I got the Maine Rootbeer and my love had ordered a Mexican Cola, both were very good and paired well with the food we had ordered. Overall a formidably strong 9/10 and easy 4.5/5, thank you for the great service and rich food! Missy (I don’t know if that’s how you spell her name unfortunately) was absolutely wonderful and provided top notch service.

The food was amazing, and the atmosphere and decor were awesome . Our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed. However, she did an excellent job providing us with a memorable birthday celebration. We will definitely recommend this restaurant, and we will be back. We had a few issues, but the host went above and beyond to correct it.

The service is ALWAYS top shelf! Very friendly. We found out about Braised after eating off of their food truck at the farmers market in Visalia. Feels like the food has slipped a little bit in the time we have been going. We feel like it is just OK but not good enough to warrant the price you pay for a meal. Shame because we were very excited after our first dining experience there.

My new fav night out restaurant/bar and so excited they are in our sweet town of Tulare! Love the menu options, decor/layout, quality of food, service and everyone we encountered were soooo nice. It was such a pleasant evening with delishous food and drinks. Yes, it’s a bit pricey but I don’t mind paying for a classy alternative in our sweet city.

We had the Salmon Cerviche to start. (Appetizer special). Really great flavor and nice summertime addition. Then we split the Beet Salad w/goat cheese and the Lamb Lollypops. The salad had a generous portion of beets and the dressing was spot on. I could have used a bit more goat cheese but it could be that I’m obsessed with goat cheese. I’ll ask for more next time. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the had a really yummy crunchy coating. We decided on the Strawberry Fizz for our cocktail and it did not disappoint. I heard the Berry cocktail is a good one too.

Overall.. there is nothing like this restaurant anywhere in the Central Valley and I look forward to supporting them and trying everything in the menu!

Delicious meals, New York steak was amazing!!!
Tried their iceberg salad, and it was definitely worth it . I would get it again, and it’s a must try.
The short rib was okay. It’s just roasted beef, and I wouldn’t get it again.
The dessert was delicious. I don’t remember the name but I would get it again if you’re a chocolate lover!!

What can I say…. The food was delicious. We had the lamb loli pops for an appetizer(omg, so good ). I had the stuffed chicken, and my husband had the braised burger. Both were very good, definitely recommend. Dessert, we had the Apple cobbler, which is seasonal, so definitely be sure to try to taste it while you can because WOW is so good!! We also tried the Salted Carmel marshmallow cake, also a amazing and delicious dessert(definitely have to be a chocolate lover for this one) Drinks we tried a couple, Raspberry lemon drop definitely on the sweeter side, but delicious. Jalapeño Fresca(my favorite!) is definitely fresh with a hint of spice not strong at all. Also tried the Paloma ahumado. Definitely recommend Braised Kitchen for a date night or with friends. Amazing food, atmosphere, and friendly service
