Don’t walk but run and get a table in the Club Room at Campielo. Amazing ambience and jazz playing as your servers treat you like VIP. Everything is served attentively. Had the Balsamic Beef (aka Shortrib) and it danced on the plate next to a pile of spaghetti. For apps we had tuna tartare, spicy calamari, and a pizza which was served hot and crispy with a decisive cheese pull. The cocktail program is aggressive with forward drinks and subtle essence. Try the midtown or filthy. Wine list is heavy with 5star grape juice from all the major producers.

Situated on 3rd Street South, this is Campiello’s exclusive space known as “The Club Room”.

This charming private area features a lovely atmosphere, a dedicated bar, and both bar-style and table seating.

The food and service are outstanding, particularly the rice balls and the daily specials.

Live music is available in the evenings.

Food was quite good and I had the ravioli. I like the portion sizes too. Not too big or much. So I caveat my service comments that it was valentines evening. We had an 830pm reservation to avoid the early crowd and unfortunately weren’t seated with a server until 9pm. Not the best coordination for a reservation. Almost got up and left but server asked us to hold and she will take care of us. Brought a $180 bottle of wine that was 12 years old. Kind of expected more knowledge around wine opening process for Club room but it was opened and poured without any opportunity to taste the wine. Had to ask for a decanter. Poured it without too much concern for the sediment. I share all this as for type of ambience and restaurant, I expect the better service. Not the end of the world just an opportunity for coaching the employees. Speaking of the ambience, really nice band and singer. Not too loud and played really well. They charge $10/person for music and it’s clear this is a charge prior to booking and seating. It’s worth it. Very classy.

It was our first and last time at the restaurant. On 3/5/25 we had a 6:45 pm reservation. Arrived a little earlier to the Campiello restaurant (the Club Room is a part of it). There was a long line to check in. Waited in the line for 10-15 min, then were directed to the Club Room, arrived there at 6:50. In 5 min the Club Room’s hostess was able to talk to us, found our reservation, but said there were no tables available, because we were late!!! We waited at the bar for at least 30 min before having been seated at a table. The food was okay, but nothing special that would justify their high prices. Live music (jazz organ trio) was pretty good though.

My fiancé and I dined there on Friday evening. We had a great time. The music was good. The food was good. The server was amazing. He really went above and beyond to make our night special. He recommended an amazing bottle of wine and delicious entrées. He made sure that we didn’t feel rushed and that we could leisurely enjoy the food and music. This was really notable since lately so many other restaurants in town are implementing unfriendly practices to rush people out the door. I highly recommend The Club Room. I wish I could remember our servers name. He did such a great job!

This place is a separate room apart from the main Campiello dining room down a hallway outside the back of the restaurant. Regrettably you need to expect the same experience as the main dining room with its blah Italian menu, mediocre and slow service but with the snappy addition of a cover charge of $10 per person for a jazz trio! That’s right, the Club menu is the same as the other dining room even though they hint at something more on their website with the quote, “raise the level of sophistication with the addition of elevated dishes.”
This once great fixture of Third Street is a shadow of its former self. You’re not kidding anyone.
