Drove all the way from South Philly to try the white rosemary potato pizza at Malatesta’s and it was definitely DELISH. The flavor combination was incredible — perfectly balanced, fresh, and something you just don’t find everywhere. Truly one of those specialty pies that stands out.
The quality of the pizza, the crust, and the attention to detail were all top notch. You can tell they take real pride in what they serve. This is one of those places worth traveling for.
Next trip I’m coming back for the clam pie for sure. Two pizzas that nobody else seems to have and they absolutely nail them.
Highly recommend Malatesta’s if you’re looking to try something unique and seriously delicious!

My family and I REALLY enjoyed this pizza! (One pie was plenty for 3 people.) We ordered the Pepperoni Pie and it was delicious! The sauce was slightly sweet, and the crust was perfectly cooked. The cheese combination was spot on too! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good pizza in the NS area! We will definitely be ordering from here again soon!

A ten minute pickup time for pizza is nonexistent. Not here! Malatesta’s ovens must be firing on all cylinders! The bar pizza was simply elegance in my mouth. A beautiful, crunchy, crispy, slightly chewy undercarriage with tasty sauce and cheese. The pecorino romano on top was the icing on the cake. The white rosemary potato pie was just as good and especially different. The customer service was friendly and welcoming. This shop is take-out only with an option for delivery. Do not sleep on Malatesta’s! It is a dream!

Called on a Friday early evening for a pickup order. They said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Ordered one original red pie and one bar pie with pepperoni. Both pizzas were great, the bar pie is thin crust which was nice. The sauce is definitely sweet but not overwhelming. No dine in option here as the place is very small and only built for takeout. Friendly staff, must try if you are in the area

Tried the bar pie with pepperoni for a Friday lunch in the car and it was incredible. How is there not a single bar in the area that sells this style of pizza? It is the best. Super thin, crispy, with a nice tang to the sauce, this thing is our new go-to pie. Can’t wait to try the square styles. And I must admit, it was surprisingly easy to eat while driving! Stayed in one piece and got even better as it cooled, of course. Not sure why everyone’s hating on this place already, I say def give it a try.

Was so excited to try Malatesta’s and it did not disappoint. The bar pie is so good! Not your average pizza at all. The sauce is subtly sweet and the dough has that “authentic” wood-fired vibe. Only wish the crust was a little crispier but next time I’ll ask for it well done. Can’t wait to try one of the thick square pies next.

Already had the pizza which was fantastic, so when I seen them advertise that they were now slinging cheesesteaks I had to give it a try.
Can easily say it’s one of if not the best cheesesteaks in the area right now. The roll is what makes it truly special and they definitely don’t skimp on the meat like some places.
