I’ve been a frequent customer to the primos establishments for a few years now, and I’ve never had an issue with anything I’ve gotten from them. I actually have enjoyed their food very much. But yesterday I ate at their truck in Jessup and something crazy happened. I ordered two Haiwaina tortas, and at first glance they looked delicious so me and my partner began to eat them as soon as we got home but while I’m devouring one half of the torta I bite into something that feels solid. I tried chewing it but it wouldn’t break apart like normal food so I spit it out to examine what it could be and at first glance it was folded so I thought it could be apart of the meat. But when I begin to unravel it, it turns out it was paper. I don’t know where the paper is from or what they used the paper for but it was very distasteful and disgusting. And to top it all off, when I took the food back to the food truck to demand a refund, the worker at the cashier register attempted to convince me that it was apart of the meat which felt like he was ridiculing me while attempting to invalidate what I was saying. He also asked me if both tortas had the paper but I only found paper in one of them. That was enough for me and my partner to not want to eat any of the food we were given. I know the difference between paper and Al pastor. It also wasn’t about the money, but the principle of not feeding me inedible objects that could put my health at risk. I didn’t even get an apology from them for making me ingest something inedible. But instead I was spoken to as if I was in the wrong. They provided a refund but only after I pulled out a piece of al pastor from the food box and compared it to the paper that I found in the meat.

The food was decent overall, but it was quite greasy, which might be tough on your stomach if you’re not used to that style of cooking. The birria tacos weren’t bad, I tried them both with and without cheese, but they felt a bit lacking in flavor for my taste.

Best Birria in Maryland. I’ve gone here about 15 times now and I love this place to bits. Can’t recommend enough.

TRUCKER FRIENDLY FOOD STOP WITH A QUARLES FUELING STATION RIGHT NEXT TO IT! Man oh man I found my new taco spot is jessup MD! CHORIZO TACOS WERE SLAMMING! If my nose is correct they make their own fresh green salsa! And if true their red sauce is fresh also with a smokey flavor and smell! About time one of these food trucks gives me a good taco! Oh and they also care how clean their truck is with the young lady windexing the outer shell for the food truck!

Food is always good. Orders are up pretty quickly. There are loud vehicles and trucks on the main road which make it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere since this is a food truck and only outdoor tables are available. However, the food makes up for that inconvenience. There is a liquor store next door if that’s your vibe.
