I like it; it’s simple and straightforward. Even though it doesn’t try to look like a café and feels more like a Five Guys restaurant, it doesn’t feel rushed. The service is great, and the bathroom has paper towels, which is nice. It’s clean. I judge a coffee place based on its black coffee and latte.
Black coffee: It is not watered down and is decent.
Latte: It’s not the best I’ve had, but it’s top 10 in Jacksonville; it’s just right.
Bagel: I would recommend warming it up more so the inner layer is not cold, maybe removing more of the inner bread and either adding another egg or having something like a tomato stand out if they keep one egg. As it is, there is more bread than egg. Or just adding cheese inside could also help. I added a picture of the idea just for the hell of it.
I think they have a good, simple model that is needed.

Today was their soft opener and surprisingly the atmosphere felt chill, no rush observed. Both brothers/owners there along with another barista, all three with big welcoming smiles. I had to try their 99 signature latte I got it cold and was delicious I must try it hot next time. What I loved about this place is that their coffee flavor reminds me of home (Honduras) – bold, rich, simple! I know I know different region of the world, but if you know you know in conclusion- it’s refreshing to finally have a place with good classic coffee! and at the Beach! a must try!

Stopped in today and ordered the signature matcha and wow it was so good! I was seriously impressed that they prepare it the traditional way which makes it feel that much more authentic. Pretty sure the barista that prepared my matcha was the owner and he was super friendly and welcoming. The cafe was nice and clean. I’ll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu. Do yourself a favor and check them out! ⭐️

They just opened around the corner from us. We’ve been here a couple times now & everything we’ve tried has been great! Their hot lattes are excellent & they have a wide variety of other selections.

This cafe has the aesthetics and the taste to back it! When we entered we received a warm welcome, we’re told about the restaurant and the menu. We ordered the dark chocolate mocha and the signature 99 latte. Both were spectacular and I finished the latte within the first 10 minutes it was so good. We also tried their famous Nutella cheesecake and definitely can see why its famous. Its creamy and delicious without being too sweet. A perfect balance! We will definitely be back.

I am by no means any kind of reviewer. Here’s my take, do with it what you please.
When we walked in, the girl was very friendly. I stated that we hadn’t been there before. It would have been nice to be walked through a little bit of what they have and don’t have. She did answer every question that I had ( and was very pleasant) A little help would have gone a long way and perhaps let me know a few more of my options.
We had a regular hot coffee, an iced cloudy brown (I think). A slice of the vanilla cheesecake, the praline cheesecake, and the avocado toast.
Drinks were good. Not life-changing, but nothing to complain about. Let’s be honest, everything tastes better when somebody does it for you and you don’t have to clean up the kitchen . The cheesecakes were fantastic! Both of them. The avocado toast… well, it could use some improvement. It looked and tasted like they used those little cups of guacamole. I wouldn’t get it again. I would come back and try more of the other desserts and pastries.
The little shop is cute simple to the point. However, the bathroom could use a woman’s touch and perhaps a scouring pad.
Oh yeah, and the bill was $47.

The gentlemen working the establishment are super kind and friendly! They were very helpful in suggesting their favorites from the menu, and explaining what was what! Apparently they’re from Turkey, and this is the first 99cafe in the United States! Super cool! Happy to have them in Jacksonville 🙂
