Excellent food as always, and it’s nice to have one on the west side!!
We all asked, and they delivered a 32oz green chile stew!! I honestly didn’t think I was going to finish it, but it tastes like home and it was gone before we knew it. All the staff are really friendly, and we waited around 20-30 minutes for food (pretty standard anywhere). The bathrooms are mostly clean, but as with everywhere else in ABQ, it’s a constant battle to keep them immaculate.

Ordered beans and rice for a large group for super bowl party, to go with a grilling menu. The beans and rice were fresh, hot and delicious! The food was ready at the time I requested to pick up, and and an employee took the food out to my vehicle. It was tightly sealed to help keep it hot. As side dishes for our grilled food, we were highly satisfied and pleased with their food. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite Garcia’s location in Albuquerque. The customer service and food are consistently excellent. Today we ordered take-out for work, and everything was delicious, especially the red chile, which had the perfect kick. When we picked up our order, everyone we interacted with, from the manager Alicia to the waitress Pasia and the cashier Adrianna, was wonderful. They had us in and out quickly with fresh, hot food.

Don’t be intimidated by the people waiting. They are quick and it is worth the wait which is not long. Got the tamale plate and they were on point. Wife got the green chili stew and she gave the two thumbs up. Got the kiddo the kids breakfast and took it down plus his sopapilla. All around good staff and delicious food no matter which one you choose.

We had a excellent experience from the food, the waitress and to Lashaun (I think that’s his name). Thanks man for keeping my glass full buddy. BTW folks, this place reminded of home in Deep south Texas where the hospitality is Family like and the Menudo is magnifico! 5 stars

Garcia has a great reputation serving the Albuquerque community. I’m so disappointed with this visit!
Overall, the restaurant was clean. Unfortunately, the service was very slow.
Well, at the register, I noticed a package of tortillas, they usually sell “next day” tortillas (which is awesome). I let the cashier know there was a hole in the package. And her response was to just drug her shoulders.
I had to stay in the lobby area for a little bit of time waiting for the rest of my party.
And she never re-wrapped them.
I’m sure it’s a one off, it’s just disappointing to see a lack of attention, especially when it comes to a food item.

This Garcia’s Kitchen is mediocre at best. The food was bland and plain. The service was horrible, slow and the waitress came off as apathetic. Chips and salsa is extra. Sopapillas are extra as well. The atmosphere seems like an outdated place for old folks. Don’t waste your money.

After church every Sunday we go have breakfast at Garcia’s and the wait staff is so friendly and attentive, each one of them. They make sure our drinks are filled at all times plus the food is always delicious. Great place to eat!

Do not recommend this garcias. The atmosphere at this location is awful. The female servers are rude and not happy at all to be there. You can hear the waitresses talking in the back and laughing goofing around, but the moment they walk out they make the place feel unwelcoming. The only person who made the place feel welcoming was the hostess with glasses. ALSO the server had long nails which is disgusting because her nails were so close to mine and my husband’s food about to touch it. I don’t know how that is allowed in a food place or how the managers find it sanitary for servers to have long nails with customers food. PLUS we got tea and got super grossed out when we realized they keep the tea pitchers out in the walkway in open for anyone that walks by to cough or sneeze into. This place is clearly lacking good management & sanitation. The food was COLD, and the eggs were UNDERCOOKED. The only good food they had was the sopapillas. I recommend other locations in Abq, this one should be closed down to be honest.
