My husband are adventurous foodies. We are always searching for a new spot to add to our list. Today is “The Bistro By The Brickwall” in Carthage Missouri. Everything on the menu looks great, but we settled for soup this time. For dessert we had a giant root beer float that was perfect for sharing. If you are ever in town, you gotta give this adorable bistro a try!

$56 (including tip) for 3 of us. Large salad (took home half), 2 bread bowls of soup, Turkey club sandwich, and a Dr. Pepper. All was fresh and delicious. Best soft bread bowls. Definitely wanted desert but was stuffed from the meal.

Ordering two pieces of cakes to go and realized the cakes are cut into much much smaller slices. Paying almost $8 for a slice is not worth it.
Response to owner’s comment:
The cake was given to me like that. To say that I’ve eaten the cake already, you must be a really horrible business owner. I took the picture of how the cake was given to me. But if you don’t want to own up to your business mistakes, that is okay. The post will likely be on Facebook and other social media as well.

Quite little spot just off of Garrison! Soups are amazing. Friendly service. Mouthwatering desserts!

Food was fresh and tasty! Portions were very large and fairly priced for the amount you get. My kiddo loved the lasagna. My father really enjoyed the Asian Salad. I loved the Chicken Salad on a croissant and a side of soup that was warming on this chilly day.

The Brick Wall Bistro did the reception for my son’s wedding and I would give them a 10! They did an amazing job! The food was wonderful – the atmosphere bright, cheerful & very clean. Everything they serve is delicious. However, my favorite is strawberry pecan salad. They were wonderful to work with and I would recommend them for any event.

My husband and I ate at the Brickwall Bistro this last week. The location was easy to get to, with ample parking. We were impressed with the decor, especially the ornate, high tin ceiling. We both had soup and sandwiches. The food was fresh, served hot, and was as tasty as it looked The desserts to choose from were impressive, including hand-dipped ice cream. My husband and I split a piece of chocolate cake, and a piece of cheesecake. Both were delicious, but the cheesecake was my favorite We are definitely planning a return trip the next time we head that way, looking forward to trying the Reuben sandwich next!

Super nice looking establishment with wonderful food and people!! I absolutely love the Jalapeño chicken salad and the Mac and cheese. Haven’t had anything that I haven’t enjoyed. Also, the white wedding cake and the chocolate cake are both to die for! Plus they’re always super sweet to First Responders, it means a lot. This place has become one of my favorites!

I had heard from a friend that this new bistro was good. When trying to find what to order, everything sounded good, but it seemed a bit expensive. I called and made my pick up order. Everyone was friendly went I went to pick up my order and the decor inside was blindingly white. I paid and came back home to enjoy a nice lunch with my husband. We were not impressed. Our favorite part was the Reuben, but that’s not saying much. Most everything tasted store bought, and when paying what I did, I expected fresh, house made items. If you’re looking for “meh store bought food in a shabby chic atmosphere”, then this is your place. But it’s not for us
