BBQ and Coffee! Opening every 2nd and 3rd week of the month. (Middle of the month). 9-6 Thursday Friday & Saturday’s. We are re-opening and growing with your love and support. Pre-ordering your slab or ribs is best. Family meals as well as individual meals are filling. Try our potato’s salad! Our smoked bbq Sammiches hit the spot. Roasting coffee beans on site, we serve you strong aromatic coffee and espresso drinks to order. “ OH My God Maria” is a favorite. You are always welcomed to call and make sure we are open. Love this place! You walk in and there’s a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul making you feel right at home. The food was amazing. Seasoned and cooked beautifully. I was passing by and saw this cute little cafe and thought why not try and support a mom and pop shop. I’m so so so happy I did! Vivian is the sweetest soul, Bruce is bbq’inf outside, the vibe is perfect! I felt like I was in a little country cafe which is my absolute favorite type of atmosphere. A + + with bonus extra credit for this location. The tri-tip and ribs were definitely the highlight of the meal. They were super moist and flavorful but I’m not going to lie the sides definitely exemplified true BBQ cuisine. The potato salad and baked beans were so good that we ordered some to take home with us.
The barbecue flavor profile was a lovely blend of spice and sweetness. If I could buy this in bottled form I would probably put it on everything.
The owners are so sweet and have such a strong bond to each other, their business, and their food. They have a passion for food and company that I rarely see anymore.

Finally made time to come try this place out. Thanks hood foodie for the recommendation. Let me start by saying as soon as you get near the parking lot you can already smell the deliciousness.
I had the tri tip sandwich boy was it loaded. the meat is so lean and cooked to perfection. I also had 3 sides beans,coleslaw, n potato salad. All these sides just go well with the food. Unfortunately I didn’t try the ribs,but I will be returning to give them a try. The sandwich was very savory definitely a hit in my opinion.

As someone who is very picky about barbecue being raised in the south, I can confidently say that this is the best barbecue that I have experienced in California.
I frequently get the ribs or the rib sammich and both are superb. The sauce is the perfect mix is sweet, salty, garlic-y, and a bit of heat.
The potato salad is the best I have ever had in my life, no joke. Vivian and her husband Bruce make everything FRESH and it’s definitely made it love and a lot of culinary expertise.

Bruce and Viv have curated a home away from home for me. After 10 years of passing by, on the hottest day of August so far – me and my sons whipped around, parked, and walked right in to Viv smiling and waving.
She knew what we were looking for – southern-style bbq and hospitality. And boy was it worth it!
The history of this place blew my mind and for Bruce to bring in Texas bbq with Viv’s craft for art – I’m an immediate fan. Her son’s all having been involved in the business makes it even more special for me.

It’s a small hole in the wall but the food I got was great. The lady taking our order is very nice and full of energy. I like that u smell the food cooking as you enjoy your own food, kinda gets you more hungry. They also make their own brownies and they vary at times. I would definitely come back with more people next time.
