I also tried all of their triangle rice balls (onigiri), and every single flavor was delicious. The fillings are generous, the rice is well-seasoned, and each one is thoughtfully made. You can really tell they pay attention to quality and balance in both their sweet and savory items. Highly recommend!
The inside is big enough with a good amount of tables to sit down and enjoy the food and drink. Their menu has a variety of options with the croffles displayed right in front of you so you know what they look like. Their drink is decent but didn’t impress us as much as the croffles. This was our first time trying croffles so it may not apply to everyone. They have both the sweet (with fruits) and salty (with meats) options and that fits us perfectly because we have different tastes. The croffles were crispy, not too sweet, and I think they would pair really well with a cup of tea or coffee for breakfast.
In overall, I think it was a great experience. The fact that it is not crowded already makes it a good place for chilling during weekend morning where you can enjoy delicious food and drink.
First time at this place, I was very happy! The Choco Tree shake has a delicious and sweet matcha taste, maybe a teensy bit too much chocolate but it was still so yummy. The Strawberry shake takes just like a strawberry smoothy, was very refreshing.
The croffles were very tasty, too. The croffle itself is coated very lightly in melted sugar, like tangulu. The truffle chocolate tasted like an eclair.
The crosand itself was also coated in the same sugar as the desserts, which i wasnt expecting, but it didnt really mess with the taste. The filing was delicious, like a perfect egg/potato salad.
I liked the filing of the onigiri, perfect ratio of tuna/mayo, and rice, but I think I just don’t like seaweed.
-Sausage Bread was delivered quite cold, as a result, bread part lost good texture and cheese topping on the top part became very unappealing.
-Blueberry Croffle was, I must say, very well made. It had croissant’s chewy pastry-like inner texture and surface had crispyness reminding that of waffle. However, what was shown in the menu pic suggested that the croffle would be topped with actual blueberry cream, while what was actually delivered was regular white cream spreaded with blueberry syrup. I admit that it’s such a small difference that normally wouldn’t matter if not such picky palate like mine, but given how excited I was to see the exact kind of croffle that I was looking for from the menu, my dissappointment wasn’t negligible.
Highly recommend!
