This little gem is so welcomed in Bayfield! I have only eaten here once so far but will definitely be back many times. I had the daily special green curry tofu which was absolutely delicious. Strawberry rhubarb cake with local organic produce and cream was also a treat. Renee, the owner, introduced herself and told me that qab qab is Hmong for “really yummy” and it was!

I reeeaaaly want to like this place but the sandwich that day was so sparse on ingredients it was just pitiful and cost $15 (that’s a lot for a sandwich and for that price it should be overflowing with great ingredients). The worst part is that I brought my out of town guests there hoping to impress. The curry was good but also pricey for about 2 small pieces of chicken in it. I am definitely going to give the place at least one more chance because we need stuff like this in Bayfield and I will support it. I didn’t have dessert but they are probably great because when the person made desserts for Social Lounge in town, they were fantastic.

Delicious and so, so fresh! Everything is take out and you order at the window or over the phone. I had the spring rolls (with a standout spicy dipping sauce), thai tea (absolutely divine), and mango sticky rice. The staff were super friendly and the service was fast. I can’t wait to go back for more!

4.5 stars if I could. I wish them all the best as they are brand new and it’s 1 person in the kitchen and 1 person at the window taking orders. Definitely fusion and not authentic Thai but was pretty good. I had the banh mi bowl which had pulled pork on sticky purple rice with jalapenos, cilantro, cabbage and pickled onions with a really good sauce on top. It was a good amount of food but, again, not authentic. The rest of my family had the chicken laab which had sliced chicken and purple sticky rice and sauce. They didn’t leave me any to try as they ate it all so it must’ve been pretty good. The spring rolls are vegetarian with red cabbage in it which was a first. The mango sticky rice was okay, I wouldn’t order it again. You must stir the thai ice tea very well as all the honey is at the bottom of the cup lest you get a straw full of honey and the rest unsweetened. I liked that it wasn’t very sweet even after stirring well.
