Very fresh and delicious food! We ordered vegetable Tekka Masala and Lamb Vindaloo (medium spicy). Both sauces are so tasty that we can’t stop eating! Besides, the samosa is very crispy. We also love the nice servers here!

Aroma House is one of those rare, special places you feel lucky to discover. Tucked away in an almost impossible corner of Redwood City, it feels like a secret you want to keep and also tell everyone about at the same time.

The buff chili momos are absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. They are the kind of dish you think about long after the meal is over and quietly plan your return for.

The lamb vindaloo is hands down the best I’ve had. Rich, spicy, and balanced, with lamb that is tender and infused with flavor. The lamb tikka masala is equally outstanding, creamy and comforting without being heavy, and clearly made with care rather than shortcuts.

Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Even in the cold of winter, Aroma House feels like a refuge. It’s the kind of place that warms your heart and your soul as much as it fills your stomach.

If you love bold flavors, comforting dishes, and discovering hidden gems, Aroma House is absolutely worth seeking out. It’s our regular spot and I feel apprehensive about revealing the spot. But it must be shared.

Nice little restaurant tucked away in a pretty serious and silent neighborhood. It can even be a little hard to spot. We were the only one dining at the time of our visit, probably because it was a weekday afternoon. We ordered mango lassi, pesto naan, garlic naan, and kadai paneer. Each item was deliciously prepared and piping hot when it arrived, except for the lassi of course. It was among the best we’ve had in the Bay! Service was a bit slow, but nothing to complain about. The curries come with a side of rice. We also had the veggie momo and some really nice masala chai. Definitely deserves a bigger crowd crowd!

Authentic Nepali place hidden in suburban area of Redwood City! I used to go here when it was in Mountain view. The new setting looks nice, with Nepali decor and vibe. The food was tasty but I had my rating for each food I tried.
1. Chowmein – 5/5
2. Goat thakali thaali-3/5. Daal was yummy, goat curry felt like eating a blob of cinnamon and garam masala. Shouls tone down on spice
3. Mutton sekuwa -5/5
4. Momos- 3/5…sauce very good! But keema can be a bit more flavored
5. Bandel saandeko – 1/5 – this was the disappointment

This was for my mother-in-law’s birthday dinner, and all of us had ordered meals — including me. When we opened the bag at home, one of the meals was completely missing, the one I was supposed to eat. When she reached out, the owner said they were “out” of what we ordered and acted like two people could just share one dish. By the time they offered to make something else, the rest of the food would’ve been cold.

He refused to refund the missing meal or the tip, and when she mentioned it was for her birthday, he basically dismissed it and told her to “leave as many reviews as you want.”

For a family dinner, especially for a birthday, this kind of service and attitude is unacceptable. We won’t be ordering from here again.

I loved this place! Hidden gem in redwood city! Definitely going here again to try other dishes. Chowmein were really tasty! I would prefer little bit more hot! Sekuwa chicken and bean side salad was so yummy. I will share more updates from my next time’s visit.

I ordered two meals and went to pick them up
When I got home there was only one meal
I thought they forgot the order and went back.
The owner said they were out of what we ordered so I guess he expected two people to eat one meal
I told him this was my birthday dinner.
By the time we ordered the other meal my meal would be cold.
I asked for my money back and he said no and also wouldn’t refund tip
I said this is terrible customer service and he said write as many reviews as you want I have been in business 5 years. Is this the type of person you want to support? At least don’t online order
There was not a single customer in the restaurant!!!
So if you are thinking of ordering do not
The food is terrible.

Authentic Nepali cuisine! On top of rare authentic dishes such as Buff Momo (not often that you find momos with actual water buffalo meat!) they also have original creative dishes, such as pesto naan. The saag paneer was especially amazing.

My visit today to Aroma house,a Nepali restaurant, and was blown away by the food! I’ve always enjoyed their pork dishes through online deliveries, but this time I tried their kashiko butan and took some to go food with me too. The kashiko butan was incredibly flavorful, The food is authentic, fresh, and full of Nepali flavors. The only thing I would change is asking for the butan to be spicier next time, as I love spicy food. If you’re looking for an authentic Nepali dining experience, Aroma is the place to go. Highly recommended!
