The French onion soup dumplings are something everyone on this planet needs to experience! Literally would be my last meal and I could die happy! The service is amazing. Justin, the bartender was so attentive and made great recommendations. He suggested we get the sweet and sour eggplant, which I normally wouldn’t have ordered, but it was incredible! Not a bad thing on the menu.

Came here for restaurant week and was very impressed. Sat at the bar, and the bartender was attentive enough without being overbearing.

The standouts were the Brussels sprouts and the soup dumplings! Everything else was delicious, except the shrimp cake bao bun. My only complaint is that the menu doesn’t tell you the cake itself has cilantro in it. I’m one of those genetic weirdos and it tastes like soap. Ruined the cake for me as I had to tear it apart to get the cilantro out, and it still tasted a little soapy. I would make sure people are aware of that when they order it in case they have the gene too.

The food was pretty good but unfortunately at our dinner tonight the hostess who sat us did not make for a great experience. We had made a reservation for a table for two weeks in advance and were told we had to sit at the bar because they were fully booked. We asked to wait until a table was available since that is what our reservation was for and she very rudely said no with no apology. Not a great experience on Valentine’s Day of all
days. She also brought out the wrong dish to us multiple times.

That being said our bartender was great, attentive, and gave us great suggestions so we are very grateful for him.

We came to eat dinner on a not busy Wednesday evening as a group of 4 people. One member of our group is super sensitive to spicy food – so we weren’t sure if this restaurant even could accommodate us. But they went out of their way to tell us what is spicy and what’s not. And then to put all sauces on the side – just in case our family member thought it was too spicy. Thanks for great food and fabulous customer service!

First time trying this location. Love the vibe, good music and cool color palette. Humberto was by far the best server I’ve ever had. He had great recommendations on what to try on the menu and was very personable. Our courses were timed out appropriately and drinks were always filled. The French onion soup dumplings and pork bao buns were the highlights. We will be back! Ask for Humberto and you’ll have a great experience.

The Sloans Lake location has recently opened, with positive reviews! Amazing menu with a savory variety of choices. Sauces are Spectacular with every dish. Service was superb with several individuals taking care of our table! I would recommend the Drunken Master as a cocktail
creation derived with bourbon. My only suggestion is to wear a sport jacket or wrap as the AC was blowing straight on me.

We used to love this location when they first opened.

The servings were good, dumplings were hot, but things have since gone downhill.

We were surprised we were able to walk in with no reservation, but quickly found out why. We got the sake and dumpling flight to split. We weren’t informed that it included a singular dumpling from each category. The dumplings were also cold and seemed to have been sitting out for a bit.

I ordered the Malaysian noodle entree which I had had months before and loved. Now it appears that they’ve cut the size of the dish almost in half, took away the spicy sauce that complimented it, and there were only about 5 noodles in the whole dish? It also came out lukewarm.

Sad because we used to love this place but it’s just too expensive to justify the quality of it now. Really disappointed.

Did the special where you pay a certain amount and get 3 dim sum and a flight of sake. My friend and I each got 3 different things, and all 6 were incredible. Our waiter answered all my annoying questions and was so, so nice! Plus we got cocktails after and those were also lovely.

And… the crowning jewel? My water was never empty. *chef’s kiss*

We LOVED IT. it’s definitely a place where you should plan to share the meals. We took it as kind of a tapas bar even thought they have entries and large plates as well. The food you order comes out as it’s ready rather than when the whole table of food is ready. We had the soup dumplings, tempura veggies, chicken rolls, pork belly bao buns, wagyu skewers and the wagyu buns and everything was absolutely delicious!

Stumbled on this place after taking my son to the Sloan’s Lake park and literally feels like I found a hidden gem!!! Monday is all day happy hour and it was definitely the move. Our server Bella knew the menu in & out, had great recommendations and gave excellent service. My son loved the build your own stir fry kids menu and I could have eaten my weight in the dumplings. Even Erin, the manager, was so welcoming and fun to chat with! 10/10 stars and my new favorite spot, I’m going to have to come back with the ladies for a girls night!
