Our first meal in Louisiana and it was incredible. The most friendly owners, he came out of the kitchen to bring my prime rib and then came back to chat and check on us. Just an awesome guy. Food was delicious and the experience was great. We will be back!

My husband and I were wanting a steak dinner. We had drove past this place A LOT and thought that we would give it a try. I am so glad we did! We walked in about 30 minutes prior to closing and the waitress didn’t seem irritated about it. (Some places people are irritated when customer walk in close to closing time.) great service altogether!
The steaks comes with a salad, a loaded baked potato and Texas toast. The house ranch was super yummy and I am so picky when it comes housemade ranches. The owner came and introduced himself and made us some phenomenal steaks. It is a great price! And we will be back!

Just a Hole in the Wall, old down home atmosphere kind of place. Nothing fancy here. The kind of place you’d expect to see a few locals sitting around, drinking coffee and reading the paper. But the Best Darn Steak I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly. Don’t even ask for Steak Sauce. You won’t need it. Service was great and staff was friendly. Prices about equal to what you would expect to pay for a good steak. I will be back again. Soon!

Ordered the 16oz prime rib. I literally laughed the whole time i ate it because i was unaware a steak could be so good! Pretty sure I shed a tear. Very good people run the place and they want to make sure you have the best steak experience possible! And you will!!

Food was just ok. One steak was way over seasoned the other was bland as all get out. Their sign says “Best Steaks In Town”, I’ve come to the conclusion that’s because they have the ONLY steak in town. Waitress completely forgot to put in the fried mushrooms we ordered.

We ordered our steak med rare and it was no where close and the condiments for the baked potato was a joke. They give you like 5 shreds of cheese and the salad is nothing but lettuce and dressing. The steak was not a good cut by any means. And it took forever to get a to go plate and our ticket when there wasn’t but 1 other table in there. I would not recommend this place.

I don’t hand out five stars easily, but today i found a gold nugget as i was traveling through Louisiana. I found myself outside of this hole in the wall restaurant and will never regret it. Your not going to get better food, I’ve eaten at some of the best restaurants across the world. We had a 16 ounce steak and pork chops. You won’t find a more tasty and unique flavor or tender steak and chops. Don’t believe me, give it a try, you won’t regret your decision.

Grate job 🙂 the service was grate the chef came out and had a chit chat it was a very came home and visit your family kinda feel and I like that 🙂 the food was real good to 🙂 would visit them again and they said there fixin to make some changes to there menu and it sounded delishous 🙂

We did not have a pleasant experience at this eating establishment. After our order was taken, we noticed a child running around barefoot and in a diaper only. Our server went and changed the child and threw the diaper away outside. Though she washed her hands, it was not very appetizing. After this, the cook came out to ask if we needed anything. He was dripping in sweat, which was also not very appetizing. Overall, things did not seem very clean. The food was adequate. Also, it took over 25 minutes to get our food during lunch time.
