Our Honolulu friends always bring visitors to Million, and I’ve known about it for a long time. We prefer their Kapiolani location. Staff treat you like family – many of the servers know and recognize our friends and check in on us.
We made a reservation for 4 adults/one child on a Monday at 5pm (and stayed until 9!). Our favorites were the kurobuta pork, kalbi, and small intestine (our friend tried her first time and love it). Their bulgogi has to be cooked in the kitchen, not DIY.
Their call button is super handy if you need help or top-offs. We loved the banchan and salad paired with all the grilled meats. We also got many rounds of beers and their soju cocktail pitcher (delicious).
Nice to have our own side room with A/C. A little hard to hear, but comfortable.
Parking is ample in their lot, and there were decent crowds throughout the night. For 4 people (including many drinks), the total came out to around $90 per person.

This restaurant serves truly traditional Korean dishes. Not fusion, not westernized, not ‘contemporary style’. Reliably traditional K-food prepared and cooked like you would expect in Korea. Everything we ordered (Kalbi on the bone, Bulgogi, Yukgaejang, Bibimbap, Haemul Pajeon) were spot-on delicious and satisfying. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant with the chatter of happy diners. A nice surprise is that they offer the weekly lunch specials also on the weekends! Million restaurant is a definite Go-To for anyone who loves good Korean food!

A good Korean restaurant. The food was good and fresh. I got a bowl of mixed rice with beef served in a hot bowl. The bowl was so hot that it kept cooking rice. The rice at the bottom was burnt and turned hard as it was supposed to be. I got many side dishes and they were all good. The service was great. The place was clean.

We’ve eaten at the other location on Sheridan but this has easier parking (a lot) and is more spacious. We ordered spicy squid and Gamjatang. The banchan is really good also and the food was great. Only critique was the onions in the squid were cut really large but that didn’t stop me from shoveling it in my face ♀️ Ajummas working are nice, no call button on the tables but they were attentive and we didn’t want for anything.

Don’t order take out through u er or anything. Ordered the $100 for two, it’s a joke. Never gonna order food from them.

Haven’t been to this location in a while, so I had an impromptu lunch with colleagues. Wwll priced lunch specials with normal selections like kalbi, barbecue chicken, bulgogi, etc. It seems to be the go-to for many regulars, young and old. I haven’t had it in a while, so I thought I’d order the kalbi jim. While I do prefer the broth base more of a liquid like beef broth, theirs seemed to be thicker with a flour base and potatoes added. While it was different, it was still hearty and tasty. Service was humble, quick, and gracious, and they worked like a team. A nice place to have lunch with a friend or group with lots of parking. I’d go again. ✌️

Very spacious Korean restaurant where it used to be Budnamjip on Kapiolani Blvd.
Wide range of bbq meat to chose from. We just had lunch specials, everything tasted very good.
Parking on site.

I would prefer to give a 4.5 out of 5 stars, only because the prices are pretty high… but overall, the restaurant was very clean, pleasant and welcoming… The food was outstanding and tasty… This was my 1st time trying Million restaurant, but definitely will not be my last time, an enjoyable experience.
