Now, I’ve seen quite a few of these open up around the city. I wasn’t really sure what they had to offer. I figured salads just given the name, but I ended up meeting a friend here one day and that was my first time exploring the menu. I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few options in terms of salads sandwiches bowls that really put a nice twist on different ways to have vegetables. The day that I went, it was a very cold and snowy day, so there weren’t a lot of people at this particular location as a result of the situation, but I was quickly greeted by the staff who gave me time to look at the menu. Now they have some very cute names for some of the dishes that are very pop culture inspired. I got the GD Bowl, which is warm dish that has root vegetables that are heated on a bed of wild rice. It comes with a dressing that you can add to your dish and it is the best flavor for the veggies. I look forward to going back and trying more of the menu!

The young man (Carlson) who at the counter was amazing. He had exceptional customer service and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. And the Show me the Honey salad was wonderful. It was clean and very calming. Great experience. Go check them out.

I’ve been meaning to get to Green District for a while. Now that I have I think I found a place I can visit frequently.
Seriously. There are a SO MANY fresh options! Salads and Bowls and Toastys and Wraps. Oh My!
I chose the Kickin’ Chile Chicken wrap. It was a very wise and colorful choice. Oh, and you also get to choose the wrap for your wrap (it makes sense, trust me.)
The food was prepared after I ordered, and they have a huge variety of toppings for their menu, and you can even build your own item. Looking to mix it up? They offer a Soup & Salad combo.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the store was very clean and tidy. The over music wasn’t too loud and had a great variety.
When navigating to Green District for the first time, my navigation software told me where it was, but it wasn’t there. It turns out it’s not visible, at all, from Shelbyville Rd, but in the back of the building that faces the main road. A bit confusing at first and I ended up going around the block, but as I approached from Westport Rd it all made sense.
It’s nice to discover eateries that offer fresh, healthy eats.

Wow! Finally, something fresh! Fresh this fresh that! A little fresh here a little fresh there! I can’t believe it! A place where fresh matters! Every employee was so excited to be there and serve a variety of great eats and treats. Such a colorful arrangement of delicious veggies. Wish I could have tried everything on the menu.

SALADS! I love salads. I am in love with this place! The choices here are amazing. There are so many it is almost confusing. Never fear! They have plenty of pre-selected combinations, but you can also build your own. I got the Salmon Loves Me. It was delicious as you can tell from the pictures. Not that I condone clean plates as happy plates, but I was indeed happy. IJS.

I got two salads and both were bland, soggy and did not taste fresh at all. For $40 I was expecting more. Go next door to Drakes instead.Only good thing was the portion size but who cares abojt that when the food was not great.

I like to go to this location because of Ricky. He is always very pleasant, kind and friendly. You would think he was the owner because of how nice he is. I personally think he should get a raise or be recognized by corporate in some way. He would definitely be able to teach a class to others on ‘How to Treat Your Customers”! He sure is a GREAT employee.

My first time to Green District Salads in St. Matthews, and was it a surprise. The new place is impressive. My dish was fresh and tasty. I had the “Kickin Chile Chicken”. I love spicy, and all the ingredients that were in the salad. The exterior and interior was very contemporary. It’s a fine addition to the town of St. Matthews. I’ve only lived here for 4 years: it’s been exciting to see the new businesses that are coming to this town. I can’t wait to bring my sisters to Green District! Best wishes to their future here.
