The staff was friendly and welcomed me when I walked in the door.
Highly recommend.
Get home and there’s a chocolate, a strawberry, and a sprinkle in there. Why would you opt to give me 3 normal (4 if the maple is counted as a normal – not sure) when there were plenty of options – they had cute mummy ones, Boston creme, festive looking pumpkin ones, and a few others that would have sufficed.
So I spent a ridiculous amount of time and then didn’t get what I even paid for. The donuts were good, but not 6 for $20 after tax and tip good.
Service was superb…friendly and knowledgeable with mostly helpful recommendations. Donut selection was slim as expected after 2pm. Ordered a glazed. ….give it a 3.5/5. Soft to the touch but was thick/ heavy biting into it. Also super sweet so the taste was unbalanced. Fries were fresh and fried to perfection. Hashbrowns were uniquely prepared and a HIT!!
I consider myself some_what of a burger connoisseur so I REALLY wanted to love my burger. Sadly, I couldn’t taste it for the pickles and literally everything I had after my 1st few bites, tasted like pickles…including my Dr. Pepper . Not just any pickles. pickles that resembled bread and butter pickles but with FAR more vinegar. It was striking and memorable but not in a good way. I pulled them off but it was too late.
I would go again but would get pickles on the side or not at all. I also plan to give breakfast a try. Will update rating when I do.
Thanks again for making our visit memorable!
PS The gluten free donut is amazing!!!!
Drove over an hour to try these doughnuts.
Staff were pleasant enough. It was a little later in the day so stock was lower but there was still plenty to choose from.
We ordered $25 of doughnuts and took them home, opened up the box with the family to be greeted with an odd cheesy smell…
We decided to taste test the doughnuts but unfortunately they were all completely inedible. They were awful.
It’s clear that the staff have used out of date butter or milk which has resulted in the cheesy smell/taste – which calls into question their food safety processes.
Tried calling the store but no one answered and there’s no way to contact them on social media.
Sadly I would not recommend.
To my shock, the line moved flawlessly. Every order was taken quickly and efficiently. You could tell the staff was seasoned to this activity.
The restaurant was clean. Seating was easy to find, despite being busy.
Now. The food. The food is excellent. The Hero Burger is perfection. Absolutely loved the portion size. The quality of the food. The handmade rolls are absolutely amazing. One of the best burgers in this area for sure.
Overall a great experience. HIGHLY recommend, even if the line is out the door.
We waited 5 minutes just to order three donuts while employees stood around behind the counter.
They were out of the donuts we wanted, and the ones we did get were poorly packaged, thrown into a bag and stuck together in a clump. Unfortunately, they were also the worst donuts I’ve ever tasted. Like they’d been sitting out all week. We took two bites and threw them away.
Nearly $10 for bad service and inedible donuts. Would not recommend and will avoid in the future.
1. Breakfast sandwich – Fried chicken, egg, & cheese sandwich. The sandwich was delicious. It was made with a light-bun, the chicken and egg were perfectly fried
2. Peach fritter – one of the best fried fritters I have ever had. Light and perfectly sweetened
