Shaun Was an exceptional server, the manager came by routinely. The food, I know it’s an Italian place but my steak was out of this world, my son ordered off the menu Alfredo, and they gladly made it. My youngest got smash burgers and fries, and loved that they were double patties.
The showcase of the evening was the cocktails, I’m a single mom of two kids, I work full time in sales, so I know my way around a cocktail. When I say these were the best cocktails I’ve ever had I mean it!
Ciao Bella was the best!!
Lychee martini with a sugar lychee rim

Now for the reason why we were here:
This restaurant gave my son a voucher from his school for a free dinner and ice cream. In today’s world any kind of kindness towards children should be celebrated, and we are grateful for MEMO’s for that!!

The food was inedible. The eggplant parm couldn’t be cut with a knife or my teeth and had no flavor. The ingredients described on the menu were not what was in the food. The noise level was so loud that we couldn’t hear the waiter. No bread is served with the meal. The beef shortribs and tortellini were very good however. The whole experience was very disappointing. And expensive. Won’t be back.

This place has such potential, but unfortunately falls flat. I can’t speak for the whole menu, because we didn’t get past one drink and appetizers, but from what we could tell, it wasn’t going to get any better. The meatballs were good, nothing bad there, but the focaccia had the consistency of a roll, and none of the elements of actual focaccia, as you can see from the picture. I had a Black Walnut Old Fashioned that tasted like 50% bitters, the worst bourbon I’ve ever had, and exactly no sugar or water. My wife had the Ciao Bella. Both were so bad that we couldn’t even drink half of them. So, besides the meatballs, it was a total dud. To top it off, my wife went to the restroom before we left and they were completely out of toilet paper, so it was a fitting end to a $60 dinner that we couldn’t even finish. I’d say save your money and find another place.

We had:

Pizza – it was on the specials menu, so availability is unknown. Pear reduction, goat cheese, arugala. The pizza was good and I will def see if their pizzas can handle the takeout cool down and still be good.

Another of their specials – sage butternut squash soup. Delicious! (I used pizza crust to mop up the last bits).

The asparagus side dish. It was grilled and smokey, which is a great way to cook it.

Brussel sprouts – they were not the best. Air fried, I believe and maybe only to reheat. The recipe they use does not include a balsamic glaze or vinegarette – which is needed to oppose the charred taste. I will pass on these unless they change the recipe.

I wanted to share a good review because there seem to be so many bad ones. We really enjoyed ourselves. Bottle of wine, charcuterie board, small pizza. Service was great. Food was great. They were very busy and because of that very noisy. Just be aware of that. I wouldn’t call Memo a quiet/romantic type of place.

I ❤️Memo! It’s my favorite neighborhood restaurant. They have their pasta made fresh and it is outstanding. My faves are the pasta Carbonara and the Burrata Pasta. They do have great pizzas too and a fantastic pork chop and chicken Parmigiana. Great Food, great service, and on Wednesdays it’s half off bottles of wine , which is Win for me! I Highly recommend this restaurant.

I had a great dinner and my waiter was Kai and he was awesome, but had a small mishap to get it started. I walk in to see if there is a table for two at 5:45. They both say do you have a reservation? I did not and they said sorry we have alot of reservations for inside. all we have is outside. It’s about 100° outside so I said no thanks I logged onto the app. I can make a reservation for six. I do I walk back and hold my phone up and go now I have one amazingly they sat me right down but by then so I was already in a ticked off mood. The food was awesome though and so is the waiter, but they need to train the front facing people properly.

Had a late brunch there on Saturday. Was a great experience all the way around. There were five of us. Ordered delicious dishes from the breakfast/brunch menu . . . Smash burgers, gnocchi & meatballs and the morning breakfast plate. Food came out very timely and everything was hot and fresh cooked. The server Jarrett was so excellent . Friendly & attentive. Gave us some great recommendations too! We enjoyed his service very much. Ask for him!! Def will be returning here.

This is our first time at this place, I went with my wife and some friends. The place was beautiful but the positions of the TVs were really bad. The drinks were really good and also the coffee was really good I recommend the espresso and the espresso martini.
The food came out in time, we ordered a Prosciutto E Burrata pizza and a Bolognese pasta. Pizza was good not my favorite but good, the crust needed a better combination of soft and crispy. Pasta really tasted like can sauce, when I go to an Italian restaurant I expect to eat a pasta with fresh ingredients, even herbs I expect to be fresh.
Overall the experience was good and the place is nice.

This was our second time trying out the new Memo Italian restaurant (previously catch twenty three). The first time, we came to the bar around happy hour, just after the grand opening. We loved the new center bar and ambience! We sat at the bar and really enjoyed our drinks and charcuterie. The c board was sooo good! I especially loved the truffle honey.
We came again today for Sunday brunch and sat outside. The menu was large with a lot of options at a reasonable price. We were surprised to see so many empty tables in such a beautiful day. I hope word gets out soon. That this is a great new restaurant for Westchase neighborhood! We enjoyed brunch with wine and mimosas. We got the: beef gnocchi with egg and truffle sauce, pepperoni pizza with ricotta, and the salmon egg Benedict. All were very good! I hope to leave a review on Yelp too once the business can be found on Yelp. Currently, I could not locate it on Yelp.
