Such an amazing views and lots of seating options. The drinks are tasty but the foods need to get improvement.

Not recommend ordering “Hotdog” its really salty. And I’m not sure why staff put a lots of ketchup on my hotdog without asking customer. It’s way too much and it’s really messy when I tried to eat it.

We also ordered “Grill cheeses ” for our kid but staff burn the bread really dark and after I confirm and asked if they can redo the grill cheese, staff said “ Oh, ok” with cold face! As I know, staff not fully redo my grill cheeses, they burn both side of the bread but they redo only one side and re-used the old burn grill cheeses return back to me. I forgot to take those pictures due to that issues.
Highly recommend retraining staff for better customer service. We pay full amount + tips and we hope to get the service we supposed to be receive.

There were lots of bee , if you have kids just more careful. It’s really much every where.

Such a Portland gem to visit! Latte in hand, shrimp & crab roll on the table, and a Columbia River marina view through big, bright windows. Delicious from start to finish, with the sweetest, most attentive service!

I’ve only been here during the summer menu which recently changed so remember that. Pal’s is a new establishment at the east end of Hayden Island with a great outdoor and indoor seating environment overlooking Columbia Crossing’s Tomahawk Bay Marina. To date I’ve had their burgers, white bean salad, curly fries, and beer. The Big Slap is delicious beyond description with two large fresh beef patties and an incredible sauce with shredded lettuce and cheese. It fills me up with nothing else, but of course I enjoy a few beers too! Possibly one of the best tasting burgers I’ve ever had. The single patty burger has grilled onions and tastes a little like bbq sauce but it’s not. I enjoyed it too. The white bean salad is filling and has a unique taste. I hope it comes back on the menu along with the burgers next summer. The restaurant is an order at the counter establishment but the counter service is good and will get better when the staff master their POS system. You have to be patient with new operations or you are not being fair. Let them get things dialed in and don’t hesitate to come back and try it again if it wasn’t perfect for you the first time. I’m not a seafood eater and the menu is loaded with seafood but I’ll wait to see what becomes of their menu with time. They also have a small grocery and prepared food store inside next to the order counter. When considering the price, remember they have included tips, which is different but you don’t have to think when paying your bill. Check it out for yourself. Enjoy!

Super cute spot with amazing views and lots of awesome seating options. The drinks are tasty but seem to have next to no liquor in them. One tasted like it was completely non alcoholic. Very yummy but felt completely sober after one drink and generally feel pretty tipsy after a glass of wine. There were also lots of very large spiders on the patio and spider webs. Not sure much can be done about this but we had to move several times to avoid some scary critters. Otherwise so freaking cute, amazing patio, beautiful to watch the sunset, and I thought the drinks were on par with Portland drink prices. Friendly service too!

Beautiful location and atmosphere! The drink was okay, burger felt pretty wimpy sadly and got cold fast, fries seemed like frozen French fries warmed up. Super cute place but the food wasn’t too impressive sadly. Ice cream was super good ⛵️

Pal’s is top notch! The food is always fresh, inventive and delicious. The cocktails/wine and beer perfectly curated and executed. If you like a seafood heavy menu with fresh and bright veggies to pair this is your place. The staff is friendly and warm and the space inviting.
If you haven’t been there yet…go!

Tucked away, very cute, and plenty of parking.

We were greeted warmly by staff immediately, and seated promptly.

The menu is easy to navigate, with options for various tastes, but seafood is the winner here.

Drinks were familiar, but also had some twists that were fun and new. Again, something for everyone. Staff was polite enough to humor my dumb requests, and engaged in conversation, which was appreciated.

We could definitely see how in the spring and summer this place would be even more lively, tons of outdoor seating, and near the water.

Highly recommend. We will definitely be returning 🙂

First of all the location, service and atmosphere are excellent!
We decided to come by and have a couple of drinks.
I would say that our mixed drinks were more like shots than a mixed drink. I’m self employed and I know how hard it is to manage a business.
$30 for two shots is kind of steep.
We will come back to try the food. It looks really good!
Hopefully, I can raise the score after eating here.

This is a great spot to grab food or a drink and hang out by the marina! The outdoor space is huge with lots of kid-friendly areas. When we went there was a long line. You can order food at the counter from one line and drinks/ice cream from another line. We probably waited about 20-30 minutes to order and another 30 minutes to receive our food. I thought this long wait might be a problem with little kids, but the outdoor space kept them occupied. In addition to a play area made of logs, the space also has a lawn with corn hole and a lounge area with fire pits. The place is tastefully designed and is new so everything is in great shape right now.

The food itself was very tasty. The menu feels like elevated fish shack snack bar food. The teriyaki fish bowl, for example, had a complex slaw underneath trout with perfectly crispy skin. Even the things like the potato salad were better than I expected. The portions are somewhat small compared to the prices. I think things like the fish bowl were small for an entree and would recommend ordering sides (or another entree/sandwich). The cold sesame noodles felt more substantial in size.

The staff are very friendly here, and the place has great vibes. I wonder if the kitchen will be faster in the future or if the complexity of the dishes limits its speed. If you are willing to wait and have realistic expectations around portion size, I would highly recommend this spot.

They just opened this Monday and they serve Coava coffee, plenty of parking, boats, plenty of grass for the kids to run around, they have crayons for kids, high chairs, outdoor seating, just all in all, such a great spot!
I got the B’s Bay Shrimp Roll and it’s a 10/10 Coffee was great as well!
