First and foremost, this is a good place out here in Prue to grab and go. The person was at the window to take our order promptly and accurately.
They have a small dining room in the front of the building, but like they were building an add on. The only problem it is 95⁰ and no air conditioning, and plenty of protein of dead flies in the window seal.
The French fries were good and fresh cut. Tater tots were nice and crispy and were great!
The burgers…..well that was a huge let down. With the name of papaws old fashioned burgers I automatically assumed they were going to be out of this world. The patties looked hand pressed they sure tasted “processed”, and looked like the cheap preformed patties and way unseasoned. Wife couldn’t even finish hers, and it wasn’t because of the size.
But in all….it was ok.

Awesome out of the way burger joint. Delicious . Cute picnic area. They have soft serve ice cream. As well as a ice vendor machine next door. Perfect lil spot to cruise out on the bike or whatever for an afternoon of seeing some beautiful Oklahoma country side.

It’s okay when you want something real quick. A little country grill with an unfinished area to sit in that didn’t stay cool. Don’t get me wrong. They were nice kids running it. It’s just more like a Snack Bar you go to at a High-school football game.

The burger was great! The French fry oil was brown leaking from limp fries.. Usually oil is clear. Very very dirty oil. This place would be great if they changed the oil more often.

the amount of food you get doesn’t make up for the price you pay. also I agree with the other review that they use very dirty oil. burger was decent though but definitely not worth the price.
