If you want a hot dog joint without a lot of “hoopla” this is it! They have simple to complex options to make your dawg the best ever. Want an Atomic dog with everything they can find that’s HOT or just a plain dog with no bun …. They serve it here. Top your meal with hot fresh crinkle cut fries and you’ve got one fine Carolina meal! Rest assured though if you’ve got someone in your party that doesn’t like hot dogs (shame on ‘em) there are a couple of options for them too. The final winning moment for me was they don’t require (shame you into) a tip before you pay! They have an old fashioned tip can on the counter which I was actually happy to feed when I finished eating because they earned it!
All in all, if you want a great hot dog go to Sam’s Hot Dog Stand!

Good beef hot dogs. You can get regular or spicy chili. Both are very good. The slaw is very good and taste fresh. The owner is super nice and at the restaurant regularly. It is a must try.

Wonderful hot dogs and some of the best hot dog chili I’ve ever had. The spicy chili sauce is my personal favorite. It’s just right, not too spicy yet has just that perfect kick of spice. I’ve always ordered my food at the drive-thru, so I cannot tell you what it’s like inside. Remember, it’s called Sam’s Hot Dog Stand for a reason, that’s their specialty. You’re not going to find a large menu with lots of meats and sides here. It is what it is, a hot dog stand. So, if you love all beef hotdogs with all the fixin’s on top, this is your place! Fast and friendly service and good prices. I recommend trying out Sam’s Hot Dog Stand for some of the best in town (and don’t forget to try their hot dog chili)!

Someone posted a review about the tiny hot dogs—guess they don’t realize the size of a normal hot dog which are not footlongs. The hot dogs are of normal size and 100% beef with fantastic chili and a variety of toppings if desired. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I don’t mind paying $11 for a great experience and wonderful food.

We checked out Sams Hot Dog Stand recently and just had the best experience. My daughter has allergies and the staff (maybe the owner as well) were gracious and let me review the ingredients of what we were interested in and we were able to add Sams to the list of safe places to eat in town. The staff was friendly and the food was great and fairly priced. We will definitely be back!

$11 bought me 2 teeny tiny hotdogs, 2 cans of coke and 2 tiny bags of chips. This order should have cost $5 in total! Nothing special about these hotdogs. They’re smaller then any you can buy in any store. The chips were from the variety pack sold in supermarkets. I have no idea how this place is in business.

Oh my god the aura of this hot dog stand was calling to me from the beach. Chili dogs and chili fries were EXACTLY what I was wanting them to be and is super cheap. 10/10

Hot dogs are good, the staff there is amazing. the manager Marisa that runs the shop has you in and out in minutes she’s friendly, and a bubbly person. been going for years definitely recommend going for that quick bite
