We were in Portland for a trip and was looking for a good Nepalese food. I dont know why the reviews aren’t consistent bht let me tell you this place is a hole in the wall! The lady (owner) was super nice and welcoming. It was a cold day but the food just made everything right! We tried their Momo – it had good meat proportions and not stingy like other places and good authentic spice level! their achar was really good and non-veg Thali and they were delicious! Highly recommend!

I’m so perplexed by these overwhelmingly positive reviews. I just ordered the palak paneer, the aloo gobi, and a side of garlic naan through DoorDash, and genuinely can’t believe how bad everything was. The aloo gobi was almost entirely lacking potatoes and had no fresh cilantro, as described and pictured. It was greasy and flavorless. The palak paneer (and accompanying rice) was genuinely the only edible thing, and even that was so runny and bland. Whatever bread product I received (it definitely wasn’t garlic naan) was thick and hard as a rock. I actually think it might have been frozen store-bought naan that was microwaved? I’m genuinely confused. It was honestly the worst meal I think I’ve ever received through a food delivery service, and that pains me to say, based on what I’m reading here. I’m truly shocked. I never write reviews on here (or on DoorDash for that matter), but I was unable to submit a review through DoorDash itself (which seems really odd to me), and people need to know what they’re possibly getting themselves into. This was my first, and will definitely be my last, time ordering from this establishment. Please, order Indian food from literally anywhere else.

Delicious momos at the Everest Curry Corner food truck. We tried the chicken momos and the goat curry. Order and pay at Discount Mini Mart next door which also stock hard to find Nepali spices.

10/10 always a great choice! The food is portioned large and we always have leftovers for several meals. Love ordering the daal and having a bit of variety in the flavor. It’s always delicious and does change from time to time. Momo is top notch, and tikka masalas never disappoint. We also order samosas and pakoda every time. Truly cannot get enough of their tamarind sauce. It’s so delightful to have the minty green sauce to balance out the spice in the samosas too. The family is so charming and kind to the transient people walking through. Lovely to have in the neighborhood :o)

Wish there was a zero rating. I never write or give rating to anyone and this is my first time rating as I think all customers as well as owner should know how their food was. We saw a lot of good reviews and decided to visit you but all we got, regret! We ordered garlic naan which was hard as rock, we also ordered chicken chow mein, chicken curry and chicken chilli momo. All the chicken items were so bad, a faint smell were coming with each bite. And looks like they didn’t even wash their veggies, bell pepper came with its original sticker with chilli momo. We spend almost like 150$ or more and we had to trash all the foods. You guys should maintain your restaurant if not no one gonna visit your restaurant again. Definitely not us though.

They over charged me . And it wasn’t till I confronted them that I got my money back . I had plenty of time to figure this out as they took an hour for my food. When it finally arrived it was tofo and not chicken . It was even written on the box chicken . I just think they hoped we didn’t notice ….. when I called back they made another excuse . Do your self a favor and skip this place . Not a good restaurant and shady business practices

Good beer selection, dry Indian spices and dal. Their food truck is terrific too. I’ve tried the Palak Paneer, paneer Tikka, butter chicken. And chili momos. All of them have been amazing. Ask for the spicy sauce on the side if you buy garlic naan and you’re in for a rush.

What a welcome addition to the neighborhood!! Family-owned, very friendly people, and the food is WOW. What a treat to have a Nepalese spot walking distance from us. Our house ordered the chicken curry, samosa’s, and lamb biryani. The chicken was soooo tender and perfectly cooked and the curry had so much flavor, absolutely delicious! Lamb wasn’t gamey (which is why I don’t usually order lamb or goat but they did a great job), and the biryani had such a unique flavor from Indian biryani and was so good. My roommate said “this is so good!” about 20x throughout our meal.
My only critique is that I wish that it was spicier, but that’s my fault since I didn’t ask, so next time I will ask for more spice! I’m so excited to try their momo’s next! I’ve heard great things about Nepalese momo’s (dumplings).
Please do yourself a favor and order food from this place. You will be so happy you did! Portion sizes are big, and so many veggies in the biryani. You can tell they put a lot of care into their business, and our house is happy they’re here!

This place is great simple quality food. Exactly what you want in a late night dinner. Portions are generous. Indian curry is so comforting. The shop owner is really nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this cart for anyone wanting to go food. Now they have picnic tables and a covered area to sit but it’s also close enough to the park to enjoy a meal there too. They also have vegetarian and gluten free options.
My only recommendation is to make the medium just a little more spicy. The mild is very mild and the hot was LAVA haha. Still loved it. I know everyone is different so it’s hard to set the spice levels.
