Since finding this place, we have gone every week! We buy a pound of birria to make our own tacos at home for one day of the week and LOVE the taco Tuesday deal!
We love being able to support a local restaurant and are so glad we found this place! It has become a staple in our weekly meal plan.

Very intimate atmosphere and nice dining experience! Was wonderful for a nice Friday lunch with my wife! I ordered the beef Barbacoa burrito and she ordered the torta. It came with a mountain of french fries! There is also free chips and real homemade salsa that has a hint of garlic and just a little bit of bite that you’ll love if you love authentic Spanish cuisine! Can’t wait to go back for taco Tuesday! 1.49$ a taco?!?! You definitely can’t go wrong there! The Staff was friendly and the food was fresh and came out very quickly.

Ordered a barbacoa burrito and recieved only a couple spoonful of carne asada in my burrito with all rice. They did not even grilled the tortilla like others. I thought they were joking. It’s very pathetic when they got the meat wrong and on top of that, only gave you crumbs of meat. Sadly it was to go so it was not worth to make the trip back.

My husband and I stopped in for takeout, service was super friendly and quick! We placed the order there and they gave chips and salsa while waiting; the salsa was delicious! Food was very tasty and the salsa had a nice spice to it, one being quite hot and I enjoy heat so if you find pepper spicy tread lightly with the salsas. We will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of eating at El Tacazo in Anoka tonight. The food was amazing with great flavor. Lots of choices on the menu. It’s a hidden gem for Mexican food in the Anoka shopping center. I’ll definitely be back. Sauces were amazing and the traffic of customers was continuous

What can I say, absolutely delicious, they are super nice also, and the price per portion is really good. Skip Chipotle, do yourself a favor and get this instead, it’s absolutely amazing. Even gave me some chips and salsa while I waited

Awesome new place that just opened. We had the steak taco, and barbacoa taco… AMAZING! We also got chips & Guac. We will definitely be back. The guacamole was to die for. We’re hoping they’ll eventually have take home containers.

Communication was a bit difficult. We kept telling the server, we wanted water, but he kept pointing to the colored drinks instead, so we ended up trying something new. I didn’t get the correct dessert I ordered too but what came out, we enjoyed it. Server was very friendly. Food was alright.

After seeing the great reviews to a Mexican restaurant I haven’t tried yet, I had to give it a go. Unfortunately I was extremely let down. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was severely lacking moisture. This was the driest burrito I’ve had in my 37 years. The burrito was also flavorless and bland. The only source of flavor was from the additional sauces (green and red) on the side. I only ate about 1/3 of the meal before I gave up. It honestly tasted worse than some frozen microwaved burritos I’ve had in the past. Some of the chicken had cartilage I had to spit out.
My wife had the chicken quesadilla and she said it was also dry with not enough cheese.
I would give this place another shot to see if their tacos are any better, but from the meals we chose today, I’m not feeling very interested in returning.
