This restaurant really is a hidden jewel. We had last dined here several years ago, when we lived in the area…and we decided to come back to give it a try…we were so glad we did!
The food was excellent. The hostesses was engaging and accommodating, and the wait staff was very attentive. The food was awesome! We also enjoyed a Scorpian Bowl between the two of us and were really so pleased – it was delicious! The decor is a little dated but don’t let that discourage you. The prices, the staff and the quality of food make this a real hidden gem – and certainly worth a visit!

We went on a Saturday night to get some dinner and enjoy the entertainment in the lounge. After an hour of waiting for our meal order to be taken we walked out. Not enough staff to handle a very busy Saturday night.

David and Jason,the owners,are very friendly and Jason is a great bartender even though Courtney is the most beautiful bartender they ever had and still do! Sam is a fantastic hard working waitress and ALWAYS remembers to bring BEAST a little bowl of water!!

I’ve been waiting for this place to reopen. I was in the area on a Saturday night and decided to stop in to check it out. There were no changes from the last time I was there. I sat at the bar. Bar and lounge were crowded and there was a rock cover band playing. The servers were attentive and immediately came over to take my drink order. Food prices are slightly higher than other places in the area. I decided to order the Haluwa rice. Large portion, enough for two. Rice had ham, chicken, shrimp and veggies. Flavorful. If you’re looking for something to do stop by and enjoy.

I’ve been going to Haluwa for years. Portions are good sized and we enjoy the food – until last night. Ordered take out for a family dinner of 14 people with 4 sides of chicken fingers – our favorite. The chicken was so over-cooked it wasn’t edible. If I had dined in I would have sent it back. To put that chicken in a takeout order was very deceptive because they knew weren’t going to notice it until we got home. Bringing it back wasn’t an option because all of the other food would have gone cold.

The waiter was busy with large table we wait long time for service and food, I’ve eaten here before and enjoyed it. It was awful the food was very dry and taste old, the chicken fingers usually my favorite were very dry out I was very disappointed

So much fun to go dancing to great bands! All the servers are absolutely wonderful! The bartenders too!
We love getting the pu pu platter for two.
They also have the best drinks around! They are great at taking care of people also, getting cabs etc.
My favorite is they have a professional door man who keeps an eye on everyone! I feel safe!

I am a truck driver I was in the plaza kill time for my pick I was staving and I look around see that restaurant after reading all the bad reviews and still I decided to give them a try soon I stepped at the door the guy was looking at me very wrong and he told I can seat only to go cause I was black a guy just walked-in he let him in and a lot of ppl at the bar seating he said I can’t buy a drink only food to go

Recently ordered takeout and it was tasteless. We were very disappointed in the food in addition to the fact that there were items missing from the order. Will not do takeout again from this restaurant

On new years tonight they had one server too handle the whole place. Other people that came in after us were being helped before us Waited over an hour before 4 other tables were taking care of before we left
