First time visiting. Service was good. Ambiance was nice for a ski village. We found prices to match what we are used to (nashville) so not ridiculous. Few issues we had the pizza we ordered came with toppings we’d requested they hold but upon arrival they immediately put in another, however it came out after we were ready to go. The caesar salad was big enough for 2-3 to split. The linguine piscatory? tasted great but all the seafood was overcooked( shrimp, mussels, scallops etc) but that’s easy to do, but unfortunate. I also found a plastic wrapper in my dish. Over all I’d recommend.

Seated us early.
Drink and food came really fast.
We got the calamari, pizza, vodka penne, and fettuccine Alfredo.
All were cooked perfectly.

Elliott is the best host! He made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The rainbow trout is an absolute must-try — perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place for both the food and the hospitality!

Sauce on Copper delivers some hits and some misses. The cheese bread? Absolutely stellar—crispy, buttery, cheesy perfection.
The chicken Alfredo? Cold on arrival, and the sauce was surprisingly basic. Pizza was solid but could’ve used more sauce. The meat platter was reliable and satisfying.
Service? Our water glasses went untouched.
Verdict: Great starters and hearty mains, but inconsistent service and underwhelming sauces hold it back from being truly exceptional.

Excellent food (for a ski resort) We are NJ/NYC natives living in CO and always looking for good, authentic, east coast Italian. We tried Sauce based on the reviews and happy we did. Meatballs, Sausage, Arancini were good, the calamari was fantastic. Caesar salad family size was more than enough for 4 and was great. Kids enjoyed the pizza and the chicken marsala and filet mingnon had no complaints. The green beans and mashed potatoes that came with the filet were some of the best weve had. This place was great! Will def be back next time we’re at Copper

What a nice experience we had at Sauce this evening. First, we came in for happy hour then we left and came back for dinner. We enjoyed the family platter size of the ravioli with Parmesan sauce with crispy Brussels sprouts. We spent some time talking with the staff who are all very friendly. I would recommend this place, it has a nice atmosphere and the food is really good.

We enjoy the happy hour at Sauce and make sure to stop in every time we’re at Copper. The drinks are the best quality and delicious. And the food is great! Tonight we enjoyed crispy Brussels sprouts and a pizza.

The waitress ,Theresa, was exceptional in service and very considerate to the fact that I had lost my voice and she included tea and honey without me asking. Above and beyond customer service

Food and Service was exceptional, we had a 10inch Pizza and Bolognese both were excellent. Old fashions were right on the money too.

Giving it a five even though I’m sure prices are too high. We had the most wonderful experience. It was the last day they were open. I feared we’d be served the dregs of the kitchen. But no, the eggplant tower was fresh and amazing. The pizza was delicious (maybe a little too much cheese for my personal preference). I really like their sauce. Hence, the name.

Yet, the best part was the service. Pally is a terrific bar manager and guy! He was so attentive making sure the open door wasn’t causing a draft. He knows the 2 minutes or 2 bites rule which often makes or breaks the tip we leave. Pally is a tremendous mountain biker and offers a ton of knowledge and willing to share. The price of our meal was worth every cent bc of Pally.
