I don’t understand. This is the second time in a row that I’ve placed an order, waited over an hour, and attempted to call both the store and the owner’s cell and gotten nothing. He didn’t get back to me the first time my order fell through, and I’m not expecting to hear from him again this time. I ordered from them just at the beginning of the year. The food was fine with no delivery problems! What on earth happened?

The man who took my order was so nice and patient. I ordered an italian sub and a root beer soda for delivery. The food came very quickly and it was good quality. I got all the veggies and they were all fresh! The bread was also very good. The sub roll seemed very fresh too. This was a great ordering experience and the prices were very reasonable. I will defiantly order again.

Fantastic customer service, and a very smooth web ordering app.

We ordered pizza from here to try it, based on a flier we received in the mail, as it was one of the only ones that would deliver to our location. However, we forgot that there was a new episode of Football on TV, which meant all the fans of that show were ordering pizza. Because of this, George’s Pizza was swamped. So shortly after we placed our order online, we received a call from the owner, alerting us to that fact. He was extremely polite and straightforward, and said that there was no way that he could make our food and get it out to us in any reasonable amount of time. And so he immediately offered a refund, which was also processed immediately.

All in all a very positive experience, and we’ll be looking to order from here in the future.

Ordered 4 salads and 1 sub, took 1.5 hours. I made three calls to them and they said he was by the airport? Really the hotel stated they are 15 minutes from the Hotel. Informed the Hotel not to advertise. I would not order in the future. Once the order finally got there, one of the salads had a hair in it.

It’s not often I spend time doing reviews, even if I’m mad and want to lash out, I dont bother taking the time. I walked into George’s for the first time today and I left saying WOW those guys are great and deserve a review before even seeing the food. It is hard to find humble people in the restaurant business now a days. Most times you are treated like you are lucky to be eating at said establishment. The attitude of everyone working was so positive and helpful and you just couldn’t help but feel you’ve talked with them 100 times before and they were so appreciative to have the opportunity to earn my business. So Driving home I thought to myself, the food must suck because those guys were really friendly lol. I got home and started opening the boxes and thinking, well A+ for presentation, the pizzas were beautiful! I take a bite and and thank the lord my first George’s experience was everything I could have asked for and more! I’m proud as a new comer to cherry valley to have George’s as my neighborhood pizza shop. You have earned my business all the right ways and I look forward to digging more into your menu to find more amazing deals and delicious food!

We ordered chicken wings, chicken strips, scallop dinner, desserts, and a few other things through foodler. IT WAS DISGUSTING. 68 + DOLLARS OF FOOD THAT ALL TASTED LIKE IT WAS COOKED IN MOTOR OIL. We ordered on Oct 8 but because Foodler was taken over by Grub hub, we couldn’t get on to leave our review and calling is pointless. Not only did everything taste like motor oil that had been on fire for a week, the smell was nauseating and we both got so sick from the smell alone. I tried to give it a shot because maybe it was just the chicken that burned in their nasty oil pit, but, 1 bite of my scallops and I threw up. I’ve never tasted anything so RANCID in my life. We had ordered previously, but, after throwing 68+ dollars in the trash (I’m a kidney patient so I live on very little) was just unacceptable. We will never order from there again and our friends thought the smell was worse than the city dump. So, we called and we’re trying to explain that the food we terrible and his response was “Ohhh, thats can’t be possible….” and hung up. So, the food was terrible, couldn’t write a review because of the Grub Hub takeover and whoever answered the phone could care less. Even the delivery driver said it smells funny. So, apparently George’s pizza not only doesn’t care about repeat customers so he doesn’t care that between my husband and I, our neighbors from upstairs, a delivery driver and a few friends, I’d say you lost about 10 people on this last order alone, but, they’ve been telling their friends as well. So , I hope our 68 dollars made you happy because you should be seeing a decrease in orders soon,, if you haven’t already. And FYI, even the dessert tasted rotten as well. I’ve always preferred to use small, local businesses, but Pizza Hut, we’re coming back. At least you address problems , clean your kitchen and your FOOD never tastes like road kill. Disgusting.
Sincerely, 1 of at least 10 people here who would rather go out and pickup free roadside roadkill and cook it myself. I’d save a lot..LOT of money. We’re done with your restaurant, With food like that, it obvious you could care less about your customers. I’m tempted to call Kitchen Nightmares but it probably wouldn’t work. You’d have to acknowledge that your food is awful but it obvious you could care less.

Tried ordering online got a message from ordersnapp saying there was an issue with my order and they couldn’t contact George’s pizza. I tried calling them five times to sort out whatever the issue was and each time I called the phone rang for over a minute without answer. I’ve requested a refund from ordersnapp and now apparently there’s an issue with that. I would have been fine with calling them and sorting out whatever issue there was so I could get my food delivered if they could have answered their phone. At this point however I’ve been charged for an order that will not be getting delivered and when I try to call George’s to get some answers they don’t even pick up their phones.

Consistently horrible. Every single time the order is wrong. Tonight I ordered parmesan garlic fries and now I have plain fries. They have so many options on their menu but when you call they dont have half the toppings offered. They offer a dipping sauce with your pizza because the crust is so gross you need to cover up the flavor. Dont be fooled by the yum and soooo good reviews on here. They are fake and this place does not deserve your hard earned money. I’ve given this place enough chances to give them a good review. They have failed miserably.
