This place was really good! Great for comfort food and a relaxing atmosphere. We got the bolognese pasta, momma’s bread and kimchi rice bowl. All were delicious. The bread was next level though. Definitely order that for your pasta and soups.

We went with a few friends for a birthday brunch and we were all happy excited about the results. The environment is adorable and the weather was perfect for the patio. The drinks were great and the food was perfection. They had the perfect combination of sweet and savory and the lemon scone was delicious. We will be back soon !

Went on a Friday afternoon and enjoyed a mellow environment, natural light, attentive service, and great happy hour prices. Enjoyed the charcuterie board, deviled eggs and fries. I hear the Heffenweisen was also great. Beautiful spot, wasn’t crowded or pretentious. Would recommend to folks looking for a low key meet up spot or a place where they can have and hear a good conversation with a date.

Was really looking forward to eating here tonight and while it says they’re open, they’re not. It seems like this is an ongoing issue based on other reviews. Please fix your hours to reflect your actual open times so people aren’t inconvenienced.

Editing review after finally getting there while they were open. It was seriously so good. The food was great. My friends and I all got the hanger streak, plus multiple apps and deserts to share. If they fix their inconsistent hours, this place is worth a visit.

Very cozy atmosphere to have family dinner, friends, couples. They have 16 kinds of beer on tap and good wines. I liked DIPA and IPA beer. My family liked pear and bacon salad, asian fusion chicken, mussels with tomato sauce, Ceviche, fusion Gnocchi with white sauce. We liked dessert: bread pudim with icecream, cream brûlée, chocolate tart, Italian Pudding. If you have question about beer ask for Japanese guy to get information.

Came for dinner and had the stuffed sole and the Zarzuela. The sole was lightly seared on the outside but delicately tender on the inside. The crab and shrimp filling is worth going back for and the entire meal was more filling than a Hungry Man TV dinner. The wifey’s Zarzuela was also delicious but isn’t for someone with a big appetite. And the prices were right. I would have given 5 stars but they were rushing us to pay at 9:15 when closing time was 9:30. So don’t go there at 9:10 and expect to be seated. From my previous reviews you know restaurants’ closing early is one of my pet peeves.

We had breakfast there this morning and it was much more than I expected! My husband had the quesadilla and it filled up a very hungry man. I had the omelette – it was stuffed with yummy vegetables and delicious cheese served nice and hot. It came with breakfast potatoes, done to perfection. The coffee was delicious! I really loved the low-key environment, being surrounded by lots of live greenery. The wait staff was very attentive. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

My first thought was, “wow, this place is cozy…” It’s a beautiful spot to be sure, but it’s also comfortable. The food is great for South Pasadena, but only acceptable for LA. What sets this place apart is the beer on draft. The selection is on par with the hippest places in LA. It’s a real oasis in Pasadena. The place expresses an air of luxury without any pretentious attitude. So why did I not give it a 5 rating. Well, it’s the loneliness that comes from not having a happy hour or any special pricing that makes drinking here sustainable. Also the barkeep is not your friend. When you’re drinking a fancy beer, it’s incumbent on the bar tender to help you with the experience. This place offers a great selection of beer on tap, but one needs a guide. Food is decent, but the service needs some work. I’ll be back, so get your ducks in row please. I want this place to succeed…

I went here with my mom and sister. I had already eaten, so I just got the marinated olives which were good. My sister got the Mac and cheese as a meal and we all really enjoyed that. We also all got wine and we all liked it (I really liked the Gruner veltliner). Our waitress was nice. The only problem we had was the salad with salami, which my mom got. She tried it, thought the salmi was bad, and immediately had my sister and I try it. We both thought the salami was disgusting and spoiled. When we asked the manager/owner (not sure who it was) about it, he said we just didn’t like it. This was very dismissive and he acted like we just didn’t like it, when it was obviously spoiled. It was inarguably bad, it tasted like wet dog. Everything else was enjoyable, but this just ruined our experience. The bread was also good but served with ice cold, hard butter. We will not be back.
