The Food Guy in the back of the bar was AMAZING!! Best street tacos we’ve ever had and the owner is a sweetheart. We will definitely go back to Metals Bar whenever we go back to the awesome little town of Wallace.

Wallace has some fantastic breweries, pubs and bars, but Metals is the crown jewel (sorry Silver Corner). The people are friendly, the lights are dim and the drinks are delicious. You might as well get the deep fried pickles. Thanks for the good times Metals

The bartender was AWESOME! There’s a great pool table for shooting a game of pool and while we were there, we encountered Pinball Wizards ~ which are very uncommon people in these day. A great selection of music on the juke box and great venue altogether.

They advertise on their door the “best Bloody Mary”. Went out tonight with the wife and asked the bartender for a bloody Mary for my wife. The bartender laughed at us and said he would have to charge us double for it. He acted like my wife was stupid for asking. I didn’t see a time requirement for ordering their so called “best bloody Marys” We ordered two beers and then closed our tab.
Silver Corner a few doors down, had no problem making my wife a bloody Mary for normal price. They didn’t even laugh at us.

It was a dark and stormy winter night and the pass was closed. Wandered into the Metal’s bar in Wallace, ID and met the night bartender, Conner. He was from Chicago. Made us a late night Schwan’s pizza for 12 bucks. Dude was a master of the pizza oven. He looked a little like Sasquatch. Best pizza hands down between here and the Mississippi. Dude is an artist with the oven and pours a nice drink as well. We’ll be back! ❤️
