My grandmother, who is now 87, grew up in Calumet. She remembers eating here growing up. This place has been around under various owners since 1930. Today we took my grandmother to Cobb Creek for breakfast. She says the decor inside has changed a lot over the years, but the good food and excellent service haven’t. Overall, we were very impressed with the place. It’s nothing fancy, just a small town diner. But the food is good, the portions are very generous and the service is great. The biscuits are homemade and quite large, the pancakes are plate-sized and very fluffy, the eggs are fresh and the sausage has great flavor. We will definitely be back.

I had time to kill and had not eaten, i came in and was surprised to see such a nice dining area. I ordered tacos on tuesday, they were very flavorful. I tried the habinero salsa and it was very good. My meal was great, more than enough food. I saw other folks meals and they also looked really good and smelled delicious. Miss Autum did a great job keeping up with the breakfast / lunch rush in the dining area. She was very attentive, and actively taking care of guests. Thank you for the meal and great service, i will be back.

If you’re in Calumet Oklahoma or even 30 miles away or your traveling Route 66 come to Cobb Creek Cafe. Its not so much a cafe, its an all american restaurant with 90% of everything made fresh. The burgers are delicious, the philly cheese steak or the Mexican food. The Mexican food blew me away, everything is fresh with it being homemade. The street tacos to the nachos and everything in between. I thought i was in San Diago, California or in Mexico eating this delicious food. They also have breakfast food as well and there is a gas station next door so if your on route 66 come down Calumet Road 5 miles and i tell you its worth the stop.

The map was confused about the actual location. It is 5 minutes north of 40. Worth the trip.
This building housed an eatery before covid. It is now reopened under new ownership. They are doing a great job.
It’s a little “backwards “. The prices are from the 1990s. The portions are from the 1970s. It makes for a “historic” experience.
Food was hot, fast, and very good.
Give them a try.
