We started with the wings, which were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, tossed in a flavorful sauce that left us wanting more. They were the perfect appetizer to kick off our meal.
The pricing at Boeuf and Frites reflects the quality of the food and the overall experience. It’s a great value for what you get, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for a satisfying meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!
The biggest disappointment was the steak sandwich. It was far below the standard of their other branches, which really let the meal down. It feels like they draw people in with the unlimited wings and fries, but then cut corners on the main dishes — and for me, that’s a deal-breaker.
Good service, but the food needs to match the hype.
Firstly the staff are definitely just unorganised and it is completed understandable with the place being all new and the sheer size of the place.
Firstly the wings, they come out with a big bowl of the wings and boneless ones (chicken balls) with a nice sauce to start. We were waiting ages for them to be fair about it but that’s grand we got them and they were lovely.
My friend got the cheesesteak which was just poor, I’ve read reviews about it and it’s just not up to scratch so I’d avoid.
I got the Bouef Burger which was absolutely outstanding, putting that next to the cheesesteak is crazy! It’s really well made.
Chips always excellent at all these locations and the sauces are always top quality.
Ice cream is really really good at the end with loads of selection.
All in all, visit! Really good spot and the value is insane. Avoid the cheesesteak!
If don’t like spicy wings ask for sauce on the side as you only get one lot of chicken bites but unlimited wings and the sauce was very spicy.
Only negative was the burger was bought out so fast on top of the wings and the tables are tiny so felt a bit rushed and cramped.
Drinks soon rack up here but the temple bar area is notorious for this, the food being such a good price and quality it makes up for it.
A pint is €8.50 for moretti, the wine is €8.50 too but was a good pour so worth it maybe more then the pint. Coke is €6.50 a pint which again as a good pour it was worth it.
Didn’t try the cocktails but around €14.
A pint of Coke Zero is €6.50 however, which is not good! All the wings had used quenched and we went on a Coke Zero frenzy and before we knew it we nearly doubled our bill. I guess you could say the house never loses.
Nothing mind blowing, but all well executed – will definitely come back again
I got the Philly Cheese Steak and the meat was really bland and rubbery.
Service was awful, besides the fact the host forgot about placing us on a table, me and my partner got tucked away in the corner of a room and could hardly ever flag anyone down for some “bottomless wings”.
Whenever we did, it would take way too long for our items to arrive, even then some items were wrong or never came. (wrong drinks and no wings came)
We could see that other customers weren’t happy with their main courses or never recieved their ordered items as well.
On top of that the staff were clearly mismanaged, the top floor we were located in didn’t have any staff until customers started complaining.
On a side note, the sauces we ordered were not on the correct plates (i.e me and my partner got each others).
PLEASE CONSIDER that other Bouef locations have been very enjoyable for me (Blanch, Grafton and Temple Bar, the other one) which makes this experience all the more disappointing.
