Zen Life

I travel a LOT and have eaten a ton of Jamaican in my day, and this one of the BEST spots I have ever found!!! I got the jerked chicken platter with cabbage, rice, and plantains. The chicken literally falls off the bone unlike any other jerked chicken I’ve had in the past! I honestly DESPISE cabbage, but I absolutely LOVED this cabbage, and I actually ate it all for once! The rice and beans were sooooo flavorful and amazing! And dont get me started on the watermelon mango ginger tea!!! Seriously worth the spot at this hidden gem!!!

My husband and I visited this place after seeing the reviews on Google and Facebook. We were not disappointed at all. Although they were about to close Roderick and his Mom were polite and hospitable. They had oxtails that were delicious with potatoes added, and I’ve never had them like that. They were very taste cooked to perfection. My husband had the bbq chick peas and he’s still talking about how good they were days later. We traveled from GA, but if you’re ever in the area, please stop by and try their great food.

Their homemade drinks are so good. The sorrel (hibiscus) drink is probably my favorite. And the food is so fresh and full of flavor. I highly recommend them for healthy options and big portions. The rasta pasta is so filling and so full of flavor. I’ve been eating here often, ever since I found out about this place.
I’m telling you though, try their fruit punch and sorrel drinks, especially if you love ginger. Those two are probably the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life.
Edited: I had to add another photo of the fusion salad I got tonight. Look at how pretty it is! Even the grapes are cut in half! I love this place! Their food is excellent. And the people running it are just as excellent.

My husband and I had the privilege of going to Fusion Hut Bistro, and the food is thebest that we have had in the area. The curried goat and jerk chicken tasted delicious. The Watermelon Ice tea was also good; very refreshing. The service was great and execetional customer service. Some of dishes on the menu are done to order,so order in advance if you can. The dishes are reasonable priced, and the serving portion is definitely worth the cost.I highly recommend this restaurant,and would definitely visit whenever I am in the area.

Food was phenomenal! There are specials clearly marked when you enter that are freshly made really fast or you can order off the full menu that takes slightly longer. We both went with specials. Food was ready in 5 minutes, piping hot and delicious. The food is served to go but there are a couple tables inside if you want to enjoy on location. They also have freshly made juices and Jamaican soda. I had a cucumber ginger juice **chef’s kiss** we’ll definitely be back. Could not recommend higher!

The first time my family & I have been here was yesterday 6/25/25. We were visiting the area and looking for healthier food options and this place was the first to pop up on Google in a line of a few other places. I cannot fully express how much we all raved about the food, customer service, and vibe after we left. On the way out of town today my daughter & I went back. If you’re looking for fast food you’re missing out because they didn’t just welcome us in, they freshly prepared the food while we waited. We will be back in the future. My daughter ordered the Chicken Alfredo & BBQ wings, I had the Shrimp tacos & buffalo wings, while the rest of the family ordered the quesadilla, 2 wraps, and one other meal. Today my daughter and I had the wings again today. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I recently moved to Daytona, Florida. When we arrived, no dishes were unpacked, and with a 1-year-old, we needed food fast. We discovered this Jamaican fusion place, and the owner was friendly, clearly dedicated, and can tell often ran out of items due to the good food. Luckily, they had the two things we wanted, like oxtails and curry chicken. The food was excellent, so we returned twice. We also recommend the jerk chicken, both patties flavors, and Jamaican drinks like Ting, my favorite. We’ve told friends to visit and will keep coming back, as the owner feels like family and it’s one of our go-to for weekend takeout.
