Honestly I wish I could rate this higher. Ive ordered from this place since I was a kid and have loved it. The last few times I’ve ordered, however, the food has been awful. My biggest gripe is the new sauce recipe, to me it tastes awful and almost generic. The crust is thinner than normal. And even the garlic bread has just been sub par. I will add a star for the delivery folks who go above and beyond so theres that.

Very unhappy tonight. Picked up a pizza, and the order was wrong. Called in and had it remade. Wrong again. I think the issue is the service, whether intentional or not, I don’t think they took the steps to ensure they were getting the order right the second time. As a result, din er was ruined, had to drive out twice and didn’t even end up with the meal I wanted. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Never using the online ordering again. It took an hour for my pizza to come, it barely tasted cooked and it only had cheese and sauce when I spent 2.00 on bacon. I called them very politely telling them they must have forgot the bacon, I was willing to give the whole pizza back if it was just a small mistake.. He simply says no. Online order said only cheese. I pulled up the receipt online and it clearly says I paid for it. I don’t mind spending the money if the food was at least good quality and the sauce wasn’t cold. He was very rude on the phone and tried lying before checking into my order.. I had to tell him he sent me my receipt online stating I ordered bacon. Then he offered 2 dollars off my next order. But a little upset with how they handle their customers. I come from customer service myself, and I found that very rude. Won’t be ordering from you guys for a while and I’ve ordered Napoli’s pizza and use to beg for it as a little girl, but as of today I will be checking out other places to order pizza from in Meriden. Very disappointed.

This is THE BEST pizza place in CT. I am from NY so that’s saying alot. I went to this place 3-4 times a month! The staff is a family and the sweetest people you ever want to meet! The service is excellent whether delivery or pickup. I have since moved back to NY, but if I ever visit CT and want pizza, this is where I’m going.

So disgusted tonight. We have been ordering from Napoli in Meriden for years. The food is always excellent. Tonight I called and the woman taking my order was obnoxious and uneducated. I gave my credit card and she asked if I wanted to include the tip. I said, No, we tip in cash. Then she asked me how much the driver would be tipped. We are always generous. Her comments were uncalled for and unnecessary. So many other places will be more than happy to receive our business.

I don’t know what’s going on with this location. The first time I ever called, the lady that answered, sounded like she hated the world. She was very rude. The food how ever was good, so I decided to give them a call again today. I called 10 times no answer. 1 time out of the 10 I got a busy sound, but the other 9 times it rang until some type of voice mail. Mind you I never got an answer! I opted to call Illiano’s Pizzeria. On the first call I got an answer! I can tell from the background noise they were really busy, even had to be put on hold 2 times before my order was completed, witch is fine with me I understand a busy restaurant. the lady that answered was calm and respectful, even tho really busy she still was able to give good customer service. something this location of Napolis in Meriden needs to work on. im very disappointed never in my life have I ever had to call a restaurant more the twice. 10 times and no answer is absurd!!

My family and I have been eating pizzas from Napoli for over 25 years. Sometimes, we had 2 or 3 pizzas a week. I just picked up a pizza today (4/19), and Gerry is very missed. The crust was tasteless, the sauce, cheese, and meatball were well below the old pizzas that we liked so much. We will be looking for a new pizza restaurant, not throwing away money on tasteless garbage. By the way, we didn’t save leftovers, they aren’t worth it.

Stopped to pick up my three pizzas to bring home to my family. Finally found in my truck console – and remembered to use – a Napoli of Meriden gift certificate for $35 (17 months old) and a register receipt that was supposed to be a gift certificate (6 months old). My aunt bought me both. When she went six months ago to buy the second gift card ($30) the previous owner claimed that he didn’t have any printed gift certificates and he would note and sign the credit card receipt to be used as a gift card (which he did).
New owners called the previous owner. Talked to him right in front of me and then claimed they couldn’t reach him. Then changed their story and said he couldn’t remember running out of gift cards. I asked, “Well, what about the Napoli of Meriden gift card?” The new owners claimed they were never credited for previously purchased gift cards when they bought the restaurant so it is also no good. My response, “What you’ve just done is illegal. Keep the three pizzas.” I left and went across town to Bella Luna pizza which is FAR BETTER and well worth the short drive.

Tried Napoli for the first time tonight. Ordered through Slice and we got a call confirming our cheesesteak options. Pizza was great. All the food came very hot and was fresh. We’ll surely be ordering again.

This place has always been my go to restaurant for years. But tonight I was very disappointed with the customer service. I was excited to order since Its been a year since Ive moved to Ny and the 2 min phone conversation for my take out order really made me change my mind completely. I called for a take out order and received unnecessary attitude. I understand we are now dealing with stressful times but with that attitude no one will order from here. I asked for the baked ziti and every response was an attitude. I finally asked if the meal came with a salad because from what I remembered it did and her response was ” well you only get a salad if you ask for one” I said oh wow thats a change because usually when I order the baked ziti meal
It came with a salad” and her response was ” well its new management”. After that comment I changed my mind. If thats how you talk and treat your customers then you can count me out.
