Great food, great service! The bao buns were perfectly soft and the filling so flavourful. We had takeout, and heated them up the absolutely littlest bit in the microwave, and they were ready to go. Great mac and cheese as well. I found the fries a touch too salty.

Delicious food, gracious service, great value. It’s not just for takeout. They have seating in a cozy adjacent restaurant section called “The Tunnel.” We had the dumplings, bao, and ribs and they were all fantastic. Highly recommended!

Soooooo good. Got the pulled pork and pulled chicken bao’s, pork dumplings, and Mac and cheese bites. Everything was amazing, we ordered it on two separate occasions! Will get again on our next visit to Halifax!

I love dumplings and been keen to check this place out. I did the pork bao + 3 dumpling combo with side of corn/butter. Bao was so light and right mix of sauces. Them dumplings??? 20/10 hit the spot. Next time I won’t fool around and just get allllll dumplings. And don’t let the small space fool you. There’s a lovely dine-in space that staff let you into. Staff are also lovely and make sure you have everything you need from soy sauce to lemon juice. Great little gem in the city!

Had the chow mein, would not recommend. Noodles were over cooked. Added chicken katsu for $3.75, which was just a cheap frozen chicken burger patty.

Shocked to say this, but the steamed pork dumplings are the best I have had in North America. The chili oil served with them is amazing too.
The pork bao buns are good, primarily carried by the sauce.
Walking dorito bag with beef was the perfect drunk snack.
To summarize, the steamed dumplings are in a league of their own. Best you will find in the city. I’m shocked to have that opinion of a little joint on Pizza Corner but they know what they’re doing. This will be my go to joint after nights out on Argyle. 12/10.

Absolutely incredible spot. I was there the first week they opened. Got the Pork Dumplings, and wow, best I’ve ever had. Have gone back numerous times since. Went tonight, ordered Dumplings, Pork Bao, Wings and Potato Skewers. All elements were incredible. They take pride in their food, and it’s a wonderfully tasty. Service, incredible. Highly recommend.

The lady who helped me was sooo friendly. The dumplings are amazing, the fries taste just like Costco’s food court fries (which is a big compliment in my opinion) and the Bao is soft, saucy, and delicious!

Omg this place is delicious! The bao bun sandwich is fantastic, the bao bun is soft and squishy, the pulled pork was tender. The fries are perfectly crispy and the dumplings just melt in your mouth. On top of that, the service was lovely! I didn’t see her name, but she was so sweet and welcoming, very friendly, cheerful etc. Will absolutely be back as often as possible.
