Good steak. Strange it didn’t come with anything. This is one of the only places that just serves a steak on a plate with nothing else. Not really a meal. Also it’s odd the way the service works. I spent 1/3 of the night waiting in line to order drinks for my table. The popovers are good but only if they are warm. I’ve been here three times and one time they were cold and undesirable.

The food and service are outstanding here, it just keeps getting better. We had wonderful service from bartender Shelby and she definitely delivered with our food timing and delicious drinks. The kitchen prepped and delivered as well, we were blown away as to how delicious everything was. The short rib is a winner and the artichoke dip should not be overlooked. We over ordered to try different items and were quite impressed by it all. Thank you for having us and keep up the great work! A+

We waited an hour and fifteen minutes and still did not have our entrées. We then asked for it to go. About 10 minutes later we received what you see in the pics. My short ribs were cold and we live 2 minutes away. We used to love this place, but it’s not worth $100 for this.

Phenomenal! Prime rib smoked to perfection! The musician on stage plays the drums with his feet the harmonica with his mouth and it sings great ….plays the guitar, such a wonderful feature! Bartenders David and Chris were amazing! Km Bar….. promote them or I’m gonna come hire them for myself! This Alabama boy is definitely going to come back to Kalispell Just For This Bar & Steak!

Calamari app has done a 180. The crisp, light appetizer has now become a soggy, heavy lump. Sad that standards are not kept up. I understand that kitchen folk come and go and training takes time but take the time to actually train them. FYI order the sauce on the side.

Service was polite and friendly but our order got messed up and our steak was over cooked after waiting an extra 20 min for it (after all the other dishes were served). The wait team worked to make it right. Lobster Mac n cheese was just ok. Too much liquid and not enough cheese. Spinach dip was Delicious.

This place used to be good. Now the food sucks, has for about a year. The service is weird. You have to go to the bar to order anything. Takes just as long for a drink as it does for food. Drinks are good. Bartenders are legit.
But the food man! Oh what a sad sad decline in quality. Elk meatballs suck, tastes like frozen with celery salt and garlic powder. Fries are okay but over cooked. Popovers are all puffy, not like they used to be. Burger is dry. Chicken satay sandwich was okay but also dry. They’re willing to spend the extra on bougie napkins for the bar, but they won’t provide quality cherries for the drinks.

Unfortunately this was terrible and we won’t go back. The price for the food was not congruent. There were 4 of us and nobody liked their food. Drinks were $15 each. My husband liked his, mine was sub par. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Music was loud, not crowded. Just not worth 100 per couple. We were disappointed because we’ve always enjoyed The Mercantile, which is attached.

Definitely has gone way downhill. We’ve been there and Mercantile at least 50 times over the years. To start, they removed the American Flags off the wall. You now have to order and pay at the bar. You now pay for popovers, the prices have gone up, and the quality has gone down. Now, the steaks are no better than Applebee’s. They also stopped using duck fat for the fries and now just most likely use cheap oil. KM and Mercantile used to be the best quality in the area, but not now. Again, I’ve been there 50+ times, and I have watched the degrading of the quality and service over the years. 3 out of 5 from a long time patron.
