I recently stopped by Cocoin Kitchen for lunch after seeing it recommended online, and I’m really glad I did. It happened to be lunch and so the lunch menu was a little less expensive. I proceeded to asked the waitress what she would recommend. She asked me if this was my first time there, I said yes. She went on to mention to try the pork chops.; So I did. I ordered the pork chops with spicy sauce, and it was a great meal. The pork chops were thin, lightly fried, and had a mild spicy flavor that wasn’t overwhelming but added a nice kick. They were very tender and flavorful. The meal came with rice, which made it filling and well-balanced. I also ordered a hot green tea, which was smooth and relaxing. Because I ordered it with my meal, the tea was half off, which was a nice bonus.
The service was fast, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there, which made the experience even better. While I was eating, the waitress came over and let me know that the gentleman who had been sitting behind me had paid for my lunch. She pointed him out to me as he was getting into his car, and I was able to wave as he was getting into his car. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture, and it truly made my day.
I would like to give a huge shout out to that gentleman for his generosity and kindness. I’ve never had anyone do that.
The atmosphere was nice and calm. There were not very many people in there. I guess the weather outside, because it was raining, they just ordered takeout or delivery.
Cocoin Kitchen also has a pretty large menu with a lot of interesting options, so I’ll definitely be coming back to try more. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were all really good. I highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area.

This hiden gem is offers flavofull dishes. My family are very picky and they 100% approved it. The garlic stirfry pea shoots came out perfect and reminded me of Ding Tai Fung. The fry chicken wings is another winner.

This is possibly the best orange chicken I have ever had. Super authentic and full of flavor. Staff was friendly. Vibe was typical for a plaza style restaurant.

The workers are very friendly, and they have me an extra side of rice because the to-go order was taking longer than expected. There are at least two dishes that I would order EVERY time I go there from now on. Get the XO Seafood Fried Rice and the French Style Filet Mignon.

The place was empty so we were initially a bit doubtful. I’m glad we made the decision to stay because ALL of their dishes were delicious, not just their Hainan chicken but also their beef, wings, and even their stir fried veggies tastes like it came from much bigger restaurants.

Renovated interior that looks better than before. A good mom and pop place that has very good Hunan chicken. Otherwise other dishes are average. The prices are slightly higher than average too. I would go back just for their Hunan chicken.
