An exceptional spot for high quality sushi. This quaint little sushi spot is right off of Lawrence and Kimball Ave across from Albany Bank. With a large variety of different sushi and sashimi at affordable prices. They sell sushi in 4 piece, 6 piece, 8 and 16. The workers here are very focused and the service is good. Out of many sushi spots I have tried on the northwest side, this is one of my favorite.

Love this place since it opened. It been my go too for dinner and lunch. I have a severe shellfish allergy. The server took that into consideration and made to keep the utensils clean during the time they had heavy orders of tempura and crab. I always appreciate the concern, most people think its something to take lightly.

I order for delivery. The scallop shooter seemed like the scallop was somewhat blanched or something. It wasn’t the texture of raw scallop which is nice and soft. It wasn’t rubbery though so that’s good. I ordered negi hamachi maki and the fish portion is not great. Same with the unagi roll, i think I can get better makis made at another place. The salmon asparagus/cucumber appetizer was great.

My favorite spot to get affordable sushi with generous ingredients and good flavor! The quality range between Gorilla locations is definitely something to watch for. I go out of my way to get to this one rather than the one on Clark St. – always skimping on ingredients and not as fresh at that one.

Nice neighborhood restaurant. Sushi is fine, the price is good, the three rolls pictured cost under $10. Speedy takeout service and staff were cool

The food was great but the presentation of the plate was horrible they squished all the sushi together. And it’s touching the wasabi
