My new go-to spot for Chinese cuisine (taking over Jade Grill’s spot). I ordered the General Tso’s chicken and it was delicious! The breading was perfectly crispy and the chicken wasn’t dry. It wasn’t spicy in my opinion, despite being described as such. Perhaps this is simply because of the demographic of the area it’s in—a lot of restaurants around here lower their spice levels. This is understandable and my meal was not lacking in flavor either way! I also got the crab rangoons and they had the most crab flavor compared to other ones I’ve tried here. My husband ordered the Pad Thai and dumplings which he said were delicious.
Unfortunately we did not dine in so I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere.
Overall, if you’re looking for a good spot for Asian/Chinese cuisine I recommend Castle Place.

Definition of don’t judge a book by its cover.
Outside looking in, it’s your run of the mill Chinese takeout, Americanized menu, scant decor. HOWEVER, what stands out from similar restaurants in the area is that the quality to price ratio is unmatched.
Get their shrimp or beef dishes and you’ll get exactly what I mean. The portions were shockingly generous and it was high grade food that I fully trust is good for my body. You can tell it’s all made fully from scratch, especially with the appetizers.
All the bad reviews are warranted and to each their own (looks like they’re all about delivery?). But this isn’t a big soulless chain — give small businesses like this some grace!!! So far, pickup has been very friendly.
If you’re skeptical from the outside and the ambiance, I would honestly just give it a try. When it’s good, it’s GOOD.

Absolutely DELICIOUS Chinese food. Sometimes they can be pretty busy but in my opinion it’s a good sign and well worth the wait! The food arrives hot and is always consistent with their meals. My wife and I order from them quite frequently and its always spot on! I highly recommend.

The food is fine, nothing special. My issue is that I asked if they had brown rice. I was told that they do but that it was a $1.75 up charge. When we got the food home, we realized it wasn’t brown rice at all, but white rice with soy sauce or something sprayed all over it. Super tacky and false advertising. Will not go there again.

Castle Place is a family-owned and operated restaurant that consistently provides excellent service. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making each visit enjoyable. The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced, offering great value for the quality and portion sizes. Highly recommend!

I would love to give them the benefit of the doubt given it was Christmas Eve however… I ordered food at 5 PM for a 6:15 PM pick up and stood in the lobby for 45 minutes without anyone working the front desk… I had to basically yell at someone walking by to get their attention to see if the order existed and it didn’t….! They had to make it…It appears that they’re making tons of food in the back, with none of it coming out the front. The lobby was full of people with no one talking to the customers… A front person doesn’t even exist…. I wasn’t the only person that stood there for 45 minutes… Not worth the wait and not worth the $58 I spent.

Love the owners and this restaurant (take out). I’ve been going here since I opened my giftshop in 2002…the food is delicious…their family is wonderful( I have watched her daughters grow up!),and you can not beat their lunch deal! I moved to West Virginia in 2019 and still stop and order every time I’m back to see family and friends!! Was back on Dec. 30 2022 for 2 orders of Sesame Chicken…their lunch special includes their incredible egg roll or soup for $8,50. My best friend and I split this and still have plenty! Now they have bubble tea as well! Mango was incredible! ❤️

Their food is really very good & their fried rice is worth the extra buck! Normally we will get Chinese food from Sesame Inn which is excellent and this place ranks right up there with them. 🙂
