Interesting find. Traveling through/stayed in Skowhegan and looked for a restaurant. Most were closed on a Monday but this was opened. Local artists paintings throughout. A sitting area with couches to sip your coffee at the front, tables through the middle ans what appeared to be another business and entrance in the back, with a separate entrance, for bike rentals. Large, clean, gender neutral bathrooms (2). Order your food at the counter, pay, and they deliver to your table. Ruben sandwich was so delicious, we had it at both our visits. Great place. Absolutely recommend

I had seen online that they had gluten free options so me and my dad went and checked it out, the breakfast sandwich I had was amazing and I had no reaction, the coffee was great, I asked for almond milk and had no reactions there as well. I will DEFINITELY be visiting again!

Was a very cute little place to sit down, relax and talk.I am actually from the city and was so surprised that I found such a great coffee shop. It was a great place to end my little getaway from the city. The staff was even better. I had asked for a specific type of sugar and a specific type of milk, and they did not have it. But they were very apologetic, and they seem to genuinely care for their customers, which made the experience even more memorable. If I visit Maine again this place is definitely on my list!

Honestly, I have *nothing* bad to say about this place! I stop here every time I’m in the area – always getting the Pistachio Iced Latte and often times the Pastrami Breakfast Sandwich too. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tried! The staff is very friendly, and the vibes are always good. Plenty of seating whether it’s in the lounge area, at the bar, or “work” area.

Great place in downtown Skowhegan! The atmosphere is delightfully eclectic, the service is friendly and efficient, and the food was great. I had the tuna salad on Texas toast and it was delicious. I went a second time and had the pastrami and it was excellent. Recommend to anyone looking for good food at a good price in a great place. Joe is there with a smile!

On this rainy Saturday after visiting with Tina, decided to stop at Joe’s Flat Iron Café here in downtown Skowhegan. Very relaxing place with great views & lots to offer. Had a medium Caramel Iced Coffee and Carrot Muffin. The Iced Coffee way better than Dunkin. The Carrot Muffin was full of flavor. Enjoyed very much and definitely recommend! On National Hot Dog Day, Joe celebrated by offering 2 hot dogs & chips for $6. That was an amazing deal and wicked good!
