I stopped in for a late lunch and found myself leaving with a full belly. I ordered the garlic shrimp taco and since there were appetizers on the “specials” board, I added the Tuna Chicharron. The garlic taco had such a wonderful flavor, I chose to not use any of the supplied sauces. The tuna chicharron was flavorful, but it needs a little assistance from a sauce. Not bad, just another flavor to complement. The next time I order, I would probably request their Chipotle cream sauce as it will add to the taste expereince. Overall, I found the food, sauces, and sides to be quite fresh and prepared very thoughtfully. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall, I found this place to be a nice little local gem that will definitely see my business again.

Four Tuna’s delivers an unforgettable dining experience! The tropical mango and ahi tuna tostada was hands down the best I’ve ever had — perfectly balanced, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The fish and shrimp tacos were on another level, clearly crafted with the skill and care of top-tier chefs. Every bite showed the quality of the ingredients and the creativity in the kitchen.

If you’re looking for food that’s not only delicious but prepared with excellence, Four Tuna’s is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The mixed ceviche and smoked tuna fries and 7 mares soup were all uniquely delicious, and our server was engaging and efficient and such a helpful guide for our first time around this excellent menu. Plus, the decor and music set the right tone from the start!

I really like the different seafood tacos offered here. They’re absolutely yummy. Warning, their “spicy”can be really hot. I usually order just one spicy taco (shrimp, octopus, or fish) and one or two more of the other non-spicy flavors. They have a good selection to choose from. I always get a very satisfying delicious meal here.

Absolutely incredible! I’m from New York, and the moment I landed in San Diego, I headed straight to this taco spot and as always, they did not disappoint. The food is insanely fresh, bursting with flavor, and the prices are super reasonable. If I could, I’d scoop this place up and bring it straight to Long Island! Easily a 10 out of 10… honestly, if I could give it 100 out of 10, I would. A must visit!

I have only ordered delivery from Four Tunas so far, but I can say without a doubt it is one of the best places to get fresh seafood with bold flavors. Thoughts on my favorite dishes below:
– Fish taco: best fish taco in all of SD, simple, but so so tasty. I reco adding sides of red salsa and extra house white sauce.
– Frijol: I am not typically a bean person, but I can’t place an order without adding these, fantastic.
– Verdes aguachile: great intense lime flavor and very fresh shrimp.
– Surf + turf fajita: great quantity, flavorful meat and veggies, ask for extra tortillas.

Looking forward to coming in person to get some fresh oysters soon!

I remember coming to this location when it was Miramar Fish Tacos & Beer. I was never a big fan unfortunately but I was excited to see a new tenant in this spot and my wife and daughter and I came to check them out.

There is limited seating inside, but there is also a patio. The place is air-conditioned but they kept all the doors wide open. We have great weather here but it was quite warm outside, so I’m not sure why they do this. We had some flies visit us at our table.

After ordering, we got complimentary chips & salsa. Note: only the first round is free. If you ask for more chips, they will charge you. The salsa is good and VERY hot so be warned.

We just ordered two things: the Aguachile Sampler ($23.95) and the Molcajete ($21.95). We love aguachile, when it’s done right. Some places just don’t do it correctly. Mariscos Hualtulco on Mission is a place that does it the best.

Four Tunas version is okay, but only the Verde or green version. We also tried the 3 Chiles and Tamarindo versions and while my wife loved the Tamarindo, none of us liked the 3 Chile. It was bizarrely sweet and we were afraid the Mango would be sweet too. Aguachile should never be sweet. And although the Verde version has some spice to it, it should be much hotter.

The real star of the show for us was the Molcajete. Wow! So much value for what you get. We were STUFFED and still didn’t finish the whole thing. Shrimp, Smoked tuna, Cheese, Arrachera steak, Serrano chili, and Mushrooms on top of scorching Molcajete with side of (flour) tortillas. Our only complaint: not enough tortillas. We had to ask for more. They gave us two more for $1 extra. Not bad really but I just wish they gave us four tortillas to start because they are quite small.

The smoked tuna was fantastic and the grilled shrimp and steak just hit the mark. Damn, so good. I want this every time we come and for just $22 it’s a bargain. I wasn’t fond of the aluminum foil that was used inside the molcajete, however. It’s like: what’s the point of the molcajete then? This is the only place that I’ve been to that does that.

We also got a 16 oz Stone beer ($8) and a red wine ($8.75) and a Jamaica ($5.95). The wine pour is very small. They do not have a liquor license from what I can see, so I doubt the margaritas have any tequila, FYI.

Overall, we are impressed enough with Four Tunas to want to come back and try the other specialties. They know how to cook for sure and the staff is very nice.

At the end of service, they gave me the payment kiosk and I added my card. They walked away too while I was adding the tip too which is nice. No pressure of them eyeballing you as you’re signing. Other restaurants take note!

Outstanding, original and delicious. I come here once or twice a year when visiting Oceanside, and before when it was ‘Miramar’ was a hidden gem, but now as Four Tunas, they have upgraded everything and the experience is nothing short of epic. We popped in just for quick Tamarind margaritas and 2 tacos— octopus and smoked tuna. All to die for. Can’t wait to get back to try more from their diverse menu.
