my recent visit to The Brewin’ Burro, which marked my first occasion in the Lee Canyon area. As it was around noon time, my primary objective was to find a welcoming spot for a much-needed cup of coffee. The Brewin’ Burro appeared to be the sole option available at that time.
Upon ordering a classic filtered coffee, I must commend you on the quality of the beverage itself; it was genuinely enjoyable. However, my overall impression of the establishment regrettably fell short of expectations due to several observations during my visit.
I noticed a distinct lack of warmth and engagement from the staff members present. There was no greeting extended, nor any indication of a welcoming demeanor, which contributed to an uninviting atmosphere. Furthermore, the general presentation of the space was concerning. Surfaces appeared untidy, and the sight of empty shelves alongside an open, actively being unloaded refrigerator created a somewhat chaotic and disorganized impression. These elements collectively detracted significantly from what could have been a pleasant experience.
While the product itself was good, the combination of customer service and store environment unfortunately led to a less than ideal first impression.

Do not waste your money on people who refuse to even acknowledge you. My family and I just spent $126 riding the ski lift (you’re supposed to get a $10/per person credit towards the restaurant). They seem to offer that bc you’re not going to get any service here. We stood at the front waiting to be acknowledged or seated for 10 minutes; any direction would have been great. The female server walked by us at least 6 times never looking up at us. She looked overwhelmed with her 4 tables- they were all served, w food and drinks on their tables. The old male bartender saw that and kept making faces and laughing- not helping us. They think they can treat people like that bc of the monopoly of serving food on the mountain. It was 1:30 P.M. I am a server myself and was appalled at the level of disrespect and utter contempt towards customers these 2 employees who are representing this company showed us. We left, never being served or acknowledged, we will never be back. Completely unacceptable behavior.

I had a plain black coffee here and was surprised by how good it was. I can’t remember the name –maybe it was a fancy single-origin, but it’s slipping my mind. It really hit the spot while mountain biking.
I really like the framed burlap coffee bags on the wall.

I walked in with my family just so I could see the place since I am from out of town. I wasn’t going to order anything but maybe a couple of workers caught me reading the menu and looking around and one of them told us that the kitchen was closed. I said no problem we don’t want anything, we are just checking out the place as well as the grill across the way. Just being a tourist because it was somewhere a little warm for a few minutes. All of a sudden, this curly haired woman came out from the back like Thor yelling “WE ARE CLOSED, THE KITCHEN IS CLOSED AND WE ARE CLOSED!!!!” I said damn it’s 3:15, and you close at 4 and she proceeds to lock the door even while people are still dining. I said ma’am we aren’t ordering, I already told your coworker that. Plus who would want to drink anything from your machine that creates drinks with the push of a button or your pastries from Sam’s. Girl please, couldn’t find a job in Vegas so she had to go out of her way to get this job. Stay away from the curly haired woman; Imagine her service when it comes to actually ordering.

What’s better than a hot cup of joe when your on the slopes?! Perfectly located to mix caffeine and the outdoors. It’s not the best coffee in the world, but the service is good and you also grab a snack. And did I mention caffeine?
