Went yesterday around 2pm. The young female working the front was horrible. She was rude, unfriendly, unpleasant, and overall just not a person a restaurant should be using for a customer’s first impression. She sucked. I watched a man wait for her to acknowledge him trying to tell her that the restroom was out of soap. Once he finally got a gap to mention it…she literally COMPLETELY IGNORED HIM…. didn’t say a single word!!! He just stood there waiting for acknowledgement, and after the next person finished ordering and he was at this point pissed off, he said…”can I just get some of the soap by your sink to wash my hands” and she just shrugged her shoulders and he proceeded to get his soap
Now for the food…. I ordered a 2 cheese enchilada plate with rice and beans. THE ENCHILADAS are in a SWEET MOLE sauce. Some people may like that, but I do not!!! And there is no mention that it’s a sweet mole sauce. Absolutely gross. The beans and rice sucked also and tasted old. Will never go back.

What a delicious fish taco! Two perfect large corn tortillas with yummy fresh fish breaded and fried, thinly sliced cabbage, chopped tomato, citrusy sauce, and green salsa on the side. Keep your eye out because this restaurant, next to Costco, sometimes offers free ones. 🙂 Fast friendly service also.

Not a good place for vegetarians. Barely any options and they’re not good about explaining what ingredients are in the burritos nor do they have it written down. It was really hard to get a clear answer and after abt 2-3 questions the guy seemed to be getting short with me and pushing me to order. How can I order when I have food limitations and you can’t explain what’s in the food. Didn’t like the vibe of the people there. I ended up walking out. Bad service is a red flag in my books.

The Vibe: It’s in a strip center and not much to the interior, but comfortable for my lunch.
Service: super friendly – from both the front and back of the house.
Food: I had fish tacos which were delicious and full. The tortillas were good, but not the best I’ve had. The salsa – both green and red – were flavorful and both had a good kick.
So if you’re shopping at Costco – take a break from the food court – and try Kotija!

The food was tasty, cooked with fresh ingredients, and well prepared. Portions are surprisingly enormous. We loved every one of our meals. They missed our fries and gave us rice instead. However, we went back and they replaced our fries without hesitation. Their customer service was excellent and deserves recognition. X

I was in the area for work for the week and dined in here three times. The food was very affordable with tacos (pretty large) around $3.49 – $4.99 and burritos $9.99 – $11.99. My Mexican boyfriend and I ordered fish tacos (pictured), burrito de cabeza, and tacos de carnitas (pictured) and al pastor. We both loved all the food, which always arrived super hot (in temperature).
The salsas were flavorful, with the yellow one not being spicy and the spicy red one having a smoky chipotle flavor. Everything we tried had an authentic flavor and my boyfriend approved. The customers at the table next to us ordered caldo de camarón (shrimp soup) which looked amazing.
The service was quick and friendly. You pick up your order at the counter (no table service). The atmosphere was very laid back and the space was very clean. The staff cleaned the tables with disinfectant after people left and kept the tray return empty. They also replaced the drink lids while handling them with napkins so as not to touch them directly which I greatly appreciated. They were also playing a Banda Los Recoditos album so you know this place is authentic. If I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely come back here.

I had the California Burrito and nachos. The burrito was amazing, with the perfect blend of spices and texture. The perfect size to share or enjoy solo after a long days work. The nachos were a disappointment with mostly just refried beans on chips with little flavor. The menu is extensive and easily offers most anyone something to love.

Shredded Chicken Burrito my go to big time burrito fix. Delicious meat juicy and right amount of sauce. Size of a small football totally fills me up. Wife loves the carnitas tacos so we both leave happy. Lady at front counter super nice and always has a big smile and cook will even come out to help with filling orders. Great fast service.
