We went during Friday lunch service and we were seated immediately. They offered us the Lunch menu, the specials menu, and the kids menu with a crayon, which has a little maze activity, and the main menu with dinner and appetizers on it. They said we could order anything including dinner items, which was great bc I had my eye on making my own pasta! There was free warm bread and olive oil balsamic dip. Very very nice. We ordered the pappardelle funghi with chicken, cheese tortellini, and kid’s spaghetti polpette. It was super delicious!! Fresh pasta and yummy sauces. The littles shared and loved their food esp. the giant single meatball on top of their spaghetti. Each plate was definitely a lot of food but it was so good that I was just excited to take some home and savor it again later. I’m coming back again!

Their service was so great too. Very pleasant and friendly servers. They saw my littles getting messy and offered a ton of napkins. They came by to check on us regularly but not overbearingly. They told me they just started up in Feb 2025 so the business is still growing but this place is amazing!

Just had the most incredible Italian experience at Pezzi! The penne pasta was cooked to perfection, and my little kiddo love their lasagna. We also ordered cappuccino, risotto pescatore, Brasato Di Manzo, mahi mahi isola, lemon gelato, lava cake and affogato everything was so perfect!! The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, perfect for a date night or special occasion. Staff super attentive, clean restrooms! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes!

I went with a party of 4 a week ago and we had a wonderful time. All the food we ordered was great:

* Calamari (great!)
* Homemade gnocchi
* Lobster ravioli
* Chicken parmesan with linguini alfredo
* Lasagna Al Pesto (my favorite dish. Unique and really really good)
* Tiramisu (really good!!)
* Panna cotta

The atmosphere in the restaurant felt very cozy and every worker we interacted with was very nice. I saw on some older reviews that the chairs were plastic but they’ve since been updated to nice wooden chairs. The restaurant at the time of writing this has only been open for 7 months, so it’s a good sign they are already making improvements.

One of the owners of the restaurant came over and chatted with us about food options and poured the wine we ordered. Felt very cozy .

I hope this place gets more business as it definitely deserves it.

Now for a tangent… I think the sign outside can use a redesign as it’s not very eye catching and doesn’t scream “delicious homemade Italian food” but that’s the only complaint I have.

I have never knew there’s a good Italian restaurant around near West Point Loma location till recently.
First time we ordered online delivery and it was so good and delicious. So second time tried to go there and had a luncheon and the restaurant wasn’t busy at that time but great service and great food

A warm, welcoming Italian restaurant. Their extensive menu has so many choices. We chose to start with a Caesar salad and fresh minestrone soup. Our main course was ravioli and pasta primavera. Affigato topped off a wonderful dinner served by a terrific staff.

Like others – we saw the high reviews and wanted to give it a try. For the seafood pasta half the clams were empty and the rest were mushy. As for the “margarita pizza” – probably the worst I’ve ever had. I mean look at the picture, it’s a $22 and you get lettuce, not even basil. We really wanted to like it.

Stopped in on a weeknight for dinner with my daughter. We were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered the fettuccine alla vodka, kid’s butter noodles, tiramisu, and gelato. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Highly recommend! Outside seating and fantastic dishes.
We’re visiting from out of state and were at Sea World all day. The food is very expensive and has horrible choices. Overall point, I’m so glad we tried this authentic Italian restraunt!! We got to sit outside and watch the fireworks from Sea World. Every dish was fantastic.
I’m not sure what the dishes’ exact names were, but the lobster ravioli was flavored so well, probably my favorite. The chicken parmesan was perfectly cooked. Spaghetti and meatballs were great. Meatballs were soft and juicy. The gnocchi were also cooked so well, with no issues with toughness or chewness. The cheese tortellini was great for my little one.
If I’m ever in town again, you best bet this will be my first stop!!
Loved every bit from food to service to the atmosphere!!

We celebrated our anniversary here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience in all aspects: food, service and atmosphere. My husband had the New York steak and I had the lasagna bolognese. Both were excellent! We shared a wedge salad and the lemoncello cake. Yum! And then they brought us a complimentary panna cotta! Double yum! We will be back and telling everyone if you’re looking for authentic Italian food with great service and reasonable prices, this is the place to go!!

If you’re looking for traditional Italian food, this is a great find. It’s tucked into a strip mall around the corner from Grocery Outlet, but don’t let that stop you, as there’s plenty of parking, and the food and service inside are top-notch. Our party of four shared the very tasty artichoke appetizer. I had the spaghetti and meatballs, a substantial dish with four huge and delicious meatballs, and a nice bright tomato sauce. The wine list has some good options, and there’s a nice selection of pilsners and IPAs for beer drinkers. It’s a family operation, and the staff is welcoming and accommodating — they truly put their hearts into preparing and serving great Italian food.
