Dear Barb and staff, thank you for such a wonderful experience. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our visit. We loved the decor and country feel. The booths were comfy and cozy. My wife loved her Egg sandwich. The bacon was crispy and delicious. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the home fries were nice and chunky and golden brown. Just right. We hope to come back soon to hear the story of how Barb’s place got started. I should have asked when we were there. Anyway, thanks for all you do. The service was quick and friendly. We can’t wait to come back. Cheers.

To summarize, an excellent local diner. The same chef (Barb’s daughter) almost every day so super consistent quality. Definitely recommend for a great quality diner vibe.
Note – Omlets and pancakes are excellent here!
Update from 9/25. The waffles are excellent too. My breakfast companion shared some of her pecan waffles with me and they were very good.
Additionally, Wednesday the special is roast beef with mashed potatoes, carrots and gravy. To summarize, it is super tasty! Legitimately tastes like it came out of your Grandma’s kitchen. Totally recommend it!
Quick update from 9/13/25 – I added some pictures of Barb’s on this day. Shows the inside of Barb’s, my meal and my companions waffle. Everything was super good as always. Just a note, the lady in the photos with red hair is Sally the head server. She is an awesome person and has become a great friend.
Update from 10/22/25 – Ordered an Apple Crisp to go. Tried it after lunch at home. It was totally a five star level desert. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! I honestly can’t think of another apple based dessert I’ve eaten as tasty. Totally recommend this desert choice when Barb features it!

Back street kind of place, very nice people, homey, BUT service is just awful! Took 2 hours to serve a basic breakfast, no joke, it’s like having your grandmother serve 20 people, one at a time as slow as molasses! It was extremely excruciating to watch. Our coffee was refilled 5 times waiting, and refilled by other customers! End result was pancakes dried out and not worth the wait. Even paying took 30 minutes. Yikes. If you are laid back, don’t care about wasting several hours of your life, then go, otherwise look elsewhere

We stopped in here at lunchtime. Doesn’t matter the time, they still serve breakfast! My husband had eggs over easy, wheat toast, sausage links, and coffee. He said everything was excellent. I had the cheesesteak hoagie, which is on Mancini‘s bread. I was very impressed with the hoagie, it was cooked perfectly, the lettuce and tomato were very fresh and delicious tasting… The whole sandwich was delicious tasting!
Our waitress, Deb, was was friendly and efficient.
We love the ambience of small diners, this one had that wonderful country charm.
Bottom line is that we would definitely return again, especially with some of our family in tow .

What Barb’s may have been lacking in terms of an updated environment it made up for in both service and small town feel. A place locals go where the prices can’t be beat. The friendly smiles made the trip worth the stop.

My wife & I went in for the first time today. The place has a relaxed vibe and an old-time family diner kind of feel. I wish they were open for dinner, as we’re not able to go during the day very often.
I had a ham & cheese onlette & home fries, my wife had over-easy eggs, pancakes, & sausage links.
The food was delicious, the portions were great, and the bill was just under $25 for the two of us. We’ll definitely be back, I’d like to try a burger.
There was a charm with my wife’s Coke from a can over a glass of ice, and I had some iced tea.
We were offered coffee or other drinks before we even sat down from the friendly waitress.
I told my wife the place looked like Cracker Barrel and Waffle House had a baby. It was a cozy country diner kind of feel.

Absolutely amazing experience at Barb’s Country Junction Cafe! I love it here! If you’re looking for a “hole in the wall”, low key diner, this is your place. The staff is very friendly, the food is amazing and prices are just right. I ordered breakfast and was very happy with the quality. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out!
