This restaurant is a real gem. Good food, good portions, at fair prices (considering they’ve skyrocketed everywhere).
I don’t understand why the score on google is so low, I personally make it a point to stop here every time I drive through. The place does seem to have some slow times throughout the day so it looks like they only usually keep minimum staff on hand to accommodate that; but the staff really busts their tails and I always get served quickly and asked about refills.
The inside looks clean and has a relaxing ambiance. Reminds me of the restaurants I’d go to with my family when I was a kid. Booths, tables, and plenty of bar seating for anyone just looking to come in for a drink, or coffee & dessert. They also serve all day breakfast, just the way the gods intended.
Now if you all see the old pork chop express hammering down i5 on a dark and stormy night, just know old Jack here is just trying to make it to the Pioneer Villa Restaurant before closing time!

Debbie was extremely nice and helpful in handling our to-go order. The fish-n-chips was good and fresh homemade vegetable soup was excellent !
We had our dog with us so knew we couldn’t sit inside. She did offer that the saloon adjacent had a patio we might use, however we opted to eat in the car.
I think it’s very unfair for someone to give a 1 star review due to the restrooms being for customers only. If you are a customer, you may use them. If you aren’t, the truck stop restrooms are just a few steps away.

They want the trucker business but won’t let truckers use their restrooms. If you have any truckers in your family or care about working men and women you shouldn’t give this place any business.

The food was amazing. We had the fish tacos. The service was horrible. The young girl working there does NOT want to be there and was borderline rude. The older lady tried at first, but could be heard in the back complaining to the cook. We waited for someone to check with us about dessert and if we needed anything else (we did). My husband even waived his arms to get someone’s attention. We ended up going to the counter and still we’re basically ignored. Keep the cook, but fire the wait staff sheesh

On the name of truck stop this place is joke truck stop mean stop where you can stop if you come this place even for go bathroom or to grab a snack you need to pay additional $50 just to park ….highly not recommended for trucks

Stop here today in the parking lot to feed my youngest Grandma watched the baby and my older children to use the bathroom and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude at the fact that I asked to use the restroom. I got told I should’ve just went to would’ve preferred to go there Definitely won’t be coming back, not even if it was the last place to stop Would definitely not recommend this place to people.
