What a great find! After being on the ice overnight, perfect place for a hearty breakfast.
Good food. Good people to talk with.
We all had a half order of B&G with hash browns and two eggs over easy. This was tasty, filling, fried in butter. You want something with deep tastes try something deep fried in beef tallow. Saturday mornings you’re likely to see a tray of the gooey, sticky, caramel maple (with nuts or not). If you see this grab one now. Cause they’ll be gone the next blink of an eye.

Besides it’s a long drive back to Indiana. Go Hooiers!

What an amazing establishment with a great atmosphere, super friendly staff, and even more amazing food. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and you can definitely tell the love and care they put into this place. I will definitely be coming back again.

This place is great! The food is amazing with great care taken to make it healthy and nutritious. A small town cafe that makes these kinds of choices with their food, in a friendly inviting atmosphere is a real treat. We will be visiting again! Make this place a stop next time you are in the area!

Fun little cafe in the town of Pease. It had alot of what I love of about small town restaurants and cafes. Simple, not pretentious, good food, swarmed by the locals. I had the Stuffed Hashbrowns (with the two eggs) and had a nice chat with the cafe owner. She is the woman in the doorway window in my photo.

We just left this little golden nugget of a place and we will make this a stop everytime we get off the ice. Our two granddaughters had fun playing eye spy with all the eclectic vintage & antique decor. Our waitress, one of the owners was super nice and a great conversationist. They cook their food with locally bought butter and tallow (not icky seed oils). The cook made a Mickey Mouse out of the girls pancakes and brought out their food first (thank goodness!) Our adult breakfast, called the Classic, was hearty and the cook made my hash browns just like I like them, crispy with cooked onions. Give them a try; small business and family owned!!

Some of the best breakfast in the area! Friendly service, and even friendlier owners. This is one of my favorite spots to go and have a great homemade breakfast! 10/5!

Pease Cafe is a classic American restaurant. The roast beef with cheddar sandwich had delicious beef pulled right off the roast, not shaved meat. The yummy onions rings are battered instead of the less desirable crumb coating. The cafe is very popular with locals. My server knew everyone, and she was very friendly. I recommend having breakfast or lunch and then walk across the street to the Pease Mercantile, an antique store. Enjoy!
