My Wife and oldest Son and I just had an incredible experience at the recently opened Kindred Public House on north Monroe. From the first step through the door the staff seemed genuinely eager to make sure we had a great experience. Our server Sadira was very helpful with navigating the menu and her eagerness to offer suggestions of her favorites kind of got me hyped to try the food here. Shortly after our drinks were served a mysterious man appeared with an short rib street taco appetizer he said was accidentally over produced from the kitchen. The tacos are absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of pickled veg to accompany a mountain of juicy and perfectly seasoned short rip meat. Then came our entrees I had the Seoul Cheese steak with garlic fries and side of Ranch. The cheese steak was well portioned and delicious every bite. The ranch is noticeably house made with flavor that can only be found with fresh herbs. My wife had the classic burger with the chimi fries, and our Son had the prototype burger with fruit cup. Everyone was super satisfied with thier meal and had no room for dessert. The service here is amazing and really made us feel welcome like a regular even though it was our first time. 10/10 family guy approved

Pretty standard pub food, everything sounded delicious and exciting on the menu, but seemed like the flavors and seasonings were toned way down. I’d expect bold flavor, not what I got. I received a side of Mac n cheese that did not get eaten by me or my date, very starchy and flavorless. Pork street tacos were good, and the Korean cheesesteak was good as well. I had high hopes for the food, the service was excellent however, after reading other reviews that must’ve been an improvement since opening.

Stopped by here a few weeks ago and I’m still thinking about it!! The food was INCREDIBLE, especially the pesto portobello burger. We also had fried tofu bites, rosemary dough puffs, and the vegan Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious! We also LOVE when restaurants are so vegan and vegetarian friendly. Our family is vegan and vegetarian and it’s so so nice to go somewhere and have more than one option. I really appreciate the versatile menu and how easily items can be adjusted for our dietary preferences. We love cascadia so it’s very exciting to have a similar but different menu closer to us! Highly recommend and can’t wait to go again.

My partner and I stopped by during the week and I can genuinely say this was a 5/5 ⭐️ experience. We came after the lunch rush was over which was the ideal time bc we got to really talk our server and get to know the menu. We tried the pork belly bites (and did tofu instead) and they were amazing. The tamarind sauce was perfectly tangy, but next time we will stick to pork bc the sauce is perfect to cut through the fattiness and once eating it totally made sense why that was the sauce they chose. (Although the tofu was great) I had the vegan fried chicken with the Korean BBQ and if you are a lover of spicy & sweet this is the ideal sauce to chose. I also recommend doing chimichurri fries rather than regular bc who doesn’t love chimichurri. My partner had the Korean Seoul Cheesestake and he LOVED it. It was also absolutely massive and he took the rest home and it’s one of the quickest time leftovers have been consumed in our home. What truly impressed us was the mushroom ‘calamari’. I’m very picky with mushrooms and this genuinely impressed me. Perfectly fried to a crunch, and the seasoning they used truly made it taste like calamari-but somehow better? Please try it!!!! Very impressed. The quality of the food is truly great and this is one of the better places we have been to in Spokane. Will be coming back.

What a gem! The location is super convenient with free parking, which made getting here so easy. The staff was incredibly nice and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

The food was amazing — packed with flavor! We especially loved the wings and pretzel bites, which were absolutely delicious. The portions are huge — we only made it through half our entrées and happily took the rest home.

Definitely recommending this spot to friends and family, and we’ll for sure be back soon!

Wow, the buzz about Kindred Public House is right on. We came in today for a late lunch and couldn’t have been happier. Great service, fantastic food, and a cool atmosphere. The sticky pork belly sandwich was amazing! A thick piece of pork belly, cooked just right, with a sweet and spicy sauce and Asian slaw on a fresh roll hit my spot. My wife loved the Mojo pork and Swiss melt and we shared the Bulgogi beef lettuce cups that were a delicious appetizer. Can’t wait to come back!

Great lunch spot attentive service. Fried tofu katsu sandwich was insanely good. Side salad with citrus vinaigrette so refreshing. Need the dressing recipe. The prototype burger was delicious. Ranch dressing fresh with dill. Will definitely return.

I had a very pleasant experience here today. My waitresses was very kind and attentive, along with the rest of the staff. I went in solo around 4:45 and the rush arrived like 10 minutes later.
I ordered the Buffalo chicken Cobb salad and it was absolutely delicious. The ranch was flavorful and the chicken was juicy. The whole thing was perfect. Definitely will be seeing me again.

Went for Happy Hour. $5 Margarita was very sweet to the point it seemed like it was a pre made cocktail. Ordered the Monroe St. Martini with the Sichuan pepper flower that was good and unique. Short rib melt was good on with the chicken sandwich. Chimichurri fries could use more Chimichurri. Overall will try again after they get fully established.

Welcoming, casual atmosphere with patio seating, friendly staff and delicious scratch made food. Plenty of vegan options. Highly recommend the Katsu sandwich with a rich umami avocado sauce and crunchy Asian slaw. The fried mushroom calamari comes with a bright lemony aioli dipping sauce. The vegan ranch is absolutely spot on. Order a side of it with your fries! I wish there were a vegan version of that portobello pesto sandwich because it looks bomb.
