Cute little stop with great vibes and a wide variety of beverages. Service was a little less than desirable (we were clearly outsiders and not very welcomed) but drinks were strong.

Please change the name . as a Jamaican this is very insulting to our culture . This is far from Jamaican or even Jamaican influenced.

Only had the fish fry here twice and totally worth the half hour drive and half hour wait for food. The breading is more like a fried chicken breading but it works! The fish was cooked perfectly, the homemade coleslaw was soooo yummy and the homemade potato salad is just as good. Definitely a place to try if youve never been there before!

Stopped in for the fish fry. Best I’ve had in awhile. Battering on the fish was unique and when paired with the orange slice made for a great combination. French fry’s were so great I didn’t dare ruin them with ketchup. Everything was very reasonably priced. Will certainly be back.

Dive bar. Very unfriendly bartender. Not welcoming at all. Stopped in for a Friday fish fry at 4:45pm. Was rudely told nothing happens here until 5. Only 3 scuzzy people at bar. Won’t be back. I can’t believe the reviews!

Great atmosphere and Mary and Andy are very nice hosts. The food is amazingly good. $1.50 Taco Tuesday I especially like. I have become a regular on Tuesdays and Fridays for the Fish fry.

Hate to give two stars because the man who owns this bar seems so nice but the women who works here is sooooo mean.
I am newly 21 and was going to go to the Wine Longue with some friends but they close at 11 so we decided to do the Jamaican Oasis because in the past have had great experiences with it.
We got there at about 11 and the women working there was so rude to us. We weren’t quite sure what to order to drink (I normally just get whatever my friends are getting but the friends I was with that night had never been to bars) they don’t have any type of drink menu as a guideline there. Its pretty much what you see and this lady was so on us to pick drinks and or leave that we really didn’t have time to look or think.
So we walk in and immediately feel unwelcome by this lady. She keeps telling us this bar isn’t for our age group and its only for near by farmers. She tells us Danny Boys is better for our age group. (Honestly a quite bar was nicer for us since we are a shy group) We ask her for drink suggestions and she just shrugs at us. So we start naming off drinks and she keeps telling us she doesn’t have them or won’t make them and doesn’t give us any suggestions or even tell us about similar things that they have. Finally we get rum and cokes and she is again rude and condescending with us upon asking us what kind of rum is in it. (If we cared we would tell her right away what kind)
We all very awkwardly quickly drink our drinks and leave.
Obviously our business was not welcome there so I will not be going there again.
But 2 stars because Andy is a nice guy just wish he was serving us that night because this lady kind of turned my friends away from bars. Never had a bar tender/server be so rude to me before.

I expected a Jamaican Oasis to serve Jamaican food. All they had was tacos, which were huge and very good, but deceptive naming of the establishment. Mary was our bartender, and was quite rude at first, but warmed up after a while.
