My first dining experience at Las Flores was fantastic. Our server Breezy was a delight. My brother joined me from out of town and we both were impressed. The food was delicious and priced well. The menu has a lot of choices. All of this, makes me look forward to my next visit.

Ill be honest my expectations where pretty low as we never tried this restaurant before just from what we heard and past experiences we where nervous. I must say they did a very good job either improving or upgrading when they where closed. I didn’t catch the servers name but she went above and beyond to ensure we where taken care of and had a good experience. She was running the front room by herself as the other person called in. The 2 gentleman cooking came out and would help her bring food, clean tables etc. I ordered the 3 steak tacos Mexican style. Others in my group had the steak tacos as well and one had a shrimp chimichanga. The food was decent you could tell nothing was pre made or sitting around. Even the chips where lite and crisp and where really good. My son’s tacos came out wrong but they where quick to take care of it and went above and beyond to make up for it. The cheese dip was good not to spicy and just right. My steak tacos where good not cubed up little pieces of meat as it was actually strips of steak cooked perfectly. I was impressed with how the food came out as there was only 1 table left in the building when dined and usually the kitchen is rushed to get food out. Not here they handled it well and made sure the food was cooked good. The restaurant is not very big with maybe 10-12 tables total. We normally go to El Tequila in New London but this tasted fresher and the staff was very inviting. The prices are very reasonable as 3 tacos with rice and beans which is a large serving is $9.99 a packed seafood chimichanga is only $14.99. The staff really cares and trys which is nice in today’s world. Overall I would say it was a 4.2 rating. They are definitely worth a try no matter what you heard.

To start off my review I want to make sure it’s known that my review is based on it being it’s first day open.
Ordered two shredded chicken tacos. The chicken itself was moist but had zero flavor to it. The toppings helped, but overall was not impressed.
Someone in our group also ordered the steak tacos. Like the chicken tacos, they weren’t bad, but there wasn’t anything special about them.
As a food service manager myself I can tell there’s a lot of things they are trying to figure out. I’m not sure if they had a soft opening, or a friends and family night before their main day. But there are a lot of things they could have worked out before opening day 1.
Based off of today’s visit I honestly wouldn’t choose this Mexican restaurant over others in the area. There wasn’t anything that made it stand out.
I’ll give the restaurant a few months and if I’m back in the area I’ll revisit and try it again to see if there are any changes. That stretch of road in Waupaca could really use a good restaurant option so I’m very hopeful that it gets better.

The cooking oil was drenching the fajitas. They should be grilled not boiled in grease.
My husband got a burrito shrimp and it had the exact same ingredients that my fajitas had????
Very slow, the waitress staff was very bad , slow and slow to return to table. Delivered my fajitas with no tortillas or condiments then waited on another table and then came with my missing items????

The food was to die for it was AMAZING. Are waitress was just the best shes always nice and always caring about everyone. The atmosphere was good it could be just a little better but mostly really good. It is very easy to get to and everything Is just AMAZING.

Best place ever if I could give it more stars than I can I would.!!!!! Our waitress was the best waitress ever!!!! I don’t remember her name but they are amazing!! It only cost me and my mom for her bday meal 28.14 so not bad and it’s fancy. The bathrooms there were nice but everything there was amazing if I could give this place more stars in case y’all were curious it would be 100 out of 10. All I can say is y’all did an amazing job well done.

Awesome place to stop for Great Mexican eats! Very nice inside. Its January and it was nice and warm in there. The smell will get you as some as you walk in. I recommend sitting by the fireplace. 10 ⭐!!
