Visited The Oakland Kitchen for breakfast and tried the steak burrito and eggs Benedict. The food was decent, nothing spectacular, but good enough. What really stood out, though, was the beautiful ambiance and interior decor — warm, stylish, and inviting. The service was wonderful too — attentive and friendly without being overbearing.
Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed, nicely designed place to start your morning. Would definitely come back to try other menu items, maybe dinner next time.

The kitchen and bar is in a nice location and with plenty of parking space. First time out here and we were greeted very nicely and immediately shown our seats. Cocktails were good, salad was delicious but didn’t enjoy the Cajun shrimp, too few for the price, maybe 6 pieces instead of 4 (in my opinion). Truffle fries were good. Overall experience was good. It is quite spacious inside. Nice place for couples and anyone headed for date night!

I truly don’t understand why this place doesn’t have at least a 4.5 rating. Drinks are amazing, food is eclectic, ambiance is calming, it’s never crowded, and our service was on point. I see common complaints of slow service but it matches the chill atmosphere and if you’re in a hurry, you should convey that to your server as I’m sure they would accommodate. The servers likely believe that you’re there for a good experience with your loved ones and don’t want to rush you. I enjoy the living wall/foliage too. My only issue was a lack of gluten free options – Although they do offer gluten free buns for their burgers. It’s a hidden secret that deserves more recognition.

I recently visited The Oakland and found it to be one of the best restaurants I’ve personally ever been to. While it’s intentionally pricey, it’s not too pricey for what you get. So what do you get? For us it was the best meal I can recall having, ever. The food, the presentation, the atmosphere, and the staff are all next level. While I realize this is simply a random review and likely means nothing to most people.. Check out The Oakland, its worth every penny.

Came here for the first time and the experience was great. Decor was very welcoming and cozy. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. The food was delicious and the French onion soup was one of my favorites. I would definitely come back to explore more of the menu for their food and drinks.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The food was delicious, especially the Cajuan Shrimp & Carrot Cake. We had two starters, four appetizers, and three desserts. Plus, our drinks were good too, I loved my rosé. Everything was made to perfection. The service was top-notch, extremely welcoming, and attentive. I celebrated my birthday here, and I am so glad I did. I was made to feel truly special! The ambiance and atmosphere were lovely, and the decor was lovely. Excellent experience, I shall definitely return to try more delicious food and drinks!

Don’t seat people at a high top in the bar if you don’t have permission first, the restaurant was basically empty with plenty of good tables to choose from.
The service was horrible. The waiter forgot about our table (not sure how that’s possible when there are very few guests inside), we had to tell him we were ready to order. We also had to ask for the check because he was not paying attention to us. I ordered the smash burger, it is nice that it comes w two patties because they are thin. However, the patties were very dry.
This strip mall hot spot should be in a better location, though the atmosphere is still nice inside. Overall the experience was nice, but a few things I would not recommend. The sharable whipped potatoes seemed to be instant from a box and not good. The carrot cake, the waiter said is not made in house, it was dry and the icing was hard. However I did like the spices that were in it. One thing I did enjoy was the grilled chicken entrée. It was grilled just right served with roasted peppers and asparagus covered in a polenta type gravy.
The place is decorated beautifully, but I would recommend taking down the curtain at the entrance so everyone who enters can see the ambiance and not feel like they are waiting in a cave.

From the lovely friendly host Jasmine to our stellar server Kevin the dining experience was top notch! Food exceeded our high expectations. The atmosphere was lovely. Cannot wait for our next visit.
