I saw that this place had high ratings, but to our standards it was okay. It seems like our order of ribs were over crispy(made me wonder if they were leftover from the day before and just reheated), the brisket was tender and juicy, the macaroni and cheese was decent, kind of looked like Kraft brand, the beans were okay. It’s our first and last time there.

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I got the potato with chili and it was excellent. Huge potato, fully loaded, with chili then added. This thing is a meal unto itself. The chili was very tasty and complimented the potato very well. I highly recommend the potato and next time I will try the chili on its own. The cornbread was moist and flavorful.

Great little bit of Texas. I got the fried chicken and it was good – very slight sweetness, leg/wing/thigh/breast cooked just right. Moist on the inside, crispy coating. The fries were good too. Excellent portions. Wife got the pulled pork on mac-n-cheese – plenty of meat on lighty cheesy mac. Comfort food to go. Glad they were open and we picked up.

This was our lunch date. As usual we chose a restaurant we never visiited at past. And try food which we never tried. This time it was this small shop which has bo presence in yelp or google. It is a small restaurant focused on carryout. As the name suggest we were expecting large portion and some tangy taste, which is there. But the menu was too little and we know most of them except the stuffed potato called stud. So my wife chose that. A stuffed stud with chicken and gravy. I was expecting some soft rib and I chose half rack bbq rib. Ambience was not so bad but definitely not for a date. Food came in a carryout box. They do not carry plates. Eating a huge half rack ribs with plastic fork anf knife is a deal. So I used my hand . And anyway hand is always needed if you tear the meat from the bone. Rib was good. Soft not too hard. The stud was awesome. Filled with chicken chese and gravy. Definitely she was not able to finish the whole and I have no place left in my stomach after eating the big rack. A spicy bbq sauce they prepare which is really a thing to mention. There hot sauce is not as sour as other which is a good thing.
So enjoy …. and also for Indian taste bud this get a good star. Go for eat.

Danny makes excellent barbecue. It’s not fancy but it is delicious. His baked loaded potatoes are fairly amazing and huge. I am especially fond of his beef brisket. The only thing I think is odd is that they won’t give you a glass of water. If you want something to drink you have to buy a soda or bottled water.

Yummy! Saturday afternoon quick lunch before heading down to Foxwoods. Pulled chicken sandwich was perfectly messy and smokey delish Great price points, small table style inside and picnic tables on the lawn for outside experience

my first time there. it was 11 am, and i ordered 1/2 rack ribs, coleslaw, chili, and corn bread. guess what, no coleslaw, REALLY. ordered beans. had the chili first, there was nothing to it. a few pieces of meat. looks like she put a scoop of sour cream in the cup and poured some chili on top. terrible. the ribs were the worst i ever had. guessing they were left over from yesterday. the ribs had a weird smell. smallest ribs i ever saw. the meat was not eatable. ended-up throwing it away. best part of the meal was the corn bread. waste of time and money. i’d never go back

Last weekend we had an outdoor barbecue celebrating many things. We ordered from Danny’s little taste of Texas and everything was outstanding. I really don’t know what my guests or even I myself, preferred …if it was the spicy rice, the perfectly spiced beans, the chicken or the brisket..it was all amazing! Since it was my first time ordering from Danny’s little taste of Texas, I was unsure if there was going to be enough food for my guests. I assure you there was more than enough food! You don’t have to make anything extra like I did. The plus side of all that, is that I’ve had plenty of leftovers that we’ve enjoyed all week. Don’t hesitate to order, everything was beyond my expectations!

We had takeout from there last week, cornbread is excellent, very tasty. We had an order of beef brisket, pulled pork and chicken. The beef brisket was very good I enjoyed it very much. We did not like the pork at all, it wasn’t dry and I’m not sure what they put on it but we didn’t enjoy it. The chicken wasn’t great either, it tasted like chicken jerky. I’m not saying they do but it very much tasted like over used liquid smoke. Again, I’m not saying they use liquid smoke but that’s what it tasted like to us. We did like the baked beans, I wish I knew how they made them. There was a little bit of heat to them but not bad.
Overall, go for the brisket. It’s very good.
